🌟 make 2025 about sustainable wellness, not restrictive resolutions 🌟
Let's shift away from the all-or-nothing mindset that leaves us feeling defeated.
Here's why these common habits don't serve us, and what to do instead:
❌ Cutting out food groups & extreme restrictions
Research (+ personal experience & the experience of hundreds of our course members) shows that completely eliminating carbs or sugar often leads to binge eating or poor relationships with food, and even more intolerances after the fact. Instead, slowly incorporate more foods into your diet, and practice mindful eating to learn to enjoy all foods in balance.
🏃♀️ Daily intense workouts
Your body needs rest to recover and grow stronger! 2-4 workouts per week plus daily movement (like walking) is actually more sustainable and effective for long-term health than punishing yourself & going balls to the walls daily. Slow & steady wins the race!
🥗 The "only" diets
Whether it's only plants or only animal products, restricting yourself to one food group means missing out on essential nutrients and (most of the time) winding up with even more food sensitivities and poor gut health. A balanced diet incorporating both gives you the best of all worlds.
💪 The fresh start syndrome
Starting over again and again with extreme changes sets us up for failure. Small, consistent improvements compound over time – that's where real transformation happens!
Instead, try these sustainable approaches:
• Cook more meals at home to control ingredients and portions
• Balance your blood sugar with regular, nutrient-dense meals
• Explore new foods rather than restricting existing ones
• Focus on daily habits you can maintain for life
Remember: Health is a journey, not a destination. Make 2025 the year you choose progress over perfection! 🌱
Double tap if you're ready to ditch the all-or-nothing mindset! 💚

Our great-great-great-grandparents in the 1860s focused on whole, seasonal foods without overthinking every bite. Imagine planning your meals without worrying about the latest nutrition trends or scrolling through endless diet advice online.
Sometimes, looking back can inspire us to simplify our approach to food. What do you think - could we learn something from these old-school meal plans? 🤔

Scroll for a few more snaps of Sarah & Brandon’s wedding ❤️
When they say your wedding day flies by, they aren't kidding… These photos are like little time capsules, capturing moments that passed in the blink of an eye -- some of them I was too overwhelmed to even enjoy in the moment. I’m so happy to have these memories captured.
Getting married at our own farm and venue @redbarn.at.angelacres made everything feel so incredibly personal and meaningful.
There's something so special about celebrating love exactly where we feel most at home - surrounded by our animals, in the landscape where we built our relationship, with our closest friends and family all gathered together. Our furry and feathered friends were basically honorary wedding guests, which made the day feel so perfectly "us".
These images bring back all the love, warmth, and pure happiness of that incredible day -- memories that we'll treasure forever ❤️
Thank you to everyone who was so supportive & sending so much love during our wedding season! That was most certainly all a blur but now that things are settled again, I have so much appreciation for you all.

Yesterday I shared the results of my fat loss journey with Coach Kathleen (-15 lbs in 8 weeks).
www.instagram.com/p/DDpv2H7u-FJ/?igsh=a2Vwc3lpbWxh…
But here’s what’s worth highlighting: my fat loss phase ended on September 15th. Now, three months later, I’ve successfully transitioned out of the calorie deficit and am back into a building up my maintenance calorie mode— And I have kept all the weight off that I lost during the fat loss phase.
That’s the real win. It’s not just about losing fat; it’s about keeping it off and making the results sustainable!

The 3 vital phases of fat loss:
1) 1. Restore (The Prep) I spent several months building up my maintenance calories before starting the fat loss phase. This step is non-negotiable—it sets your body up to respond well to a calorie deficit.
2. Reveal (The Diet) This is the fat-loss phase where you cut calories and create the calorie deficit needed to lose fat. You really don’t want to stay in this phase long, at all. You want to get in, and get out!! I don’t recommend longer than 8-10 weeks.
3. Reset (The Reverse Diet) How you transition out of the diet is critical to maintaining your results. You can’t just go back to old habits! This phase requires intentionality to solidify your progress.
Introducing TRANFORM - We’ve partnered with my Coach (Kathleen Stewart) and Coach Tyler to develop an immersive, 6 month group coaching program that will walk you through, hand in hand, each phase of fat loss - so that you can finally achieve weight loss results, ensuring this is the last program you’ll ever need to enroll in.
*Limited spots available for the group starting early Jan 2025*
