Hi everyone,

I don’t even know how to write this without tearing up.
I lost my Monetization!
YouTube has just rejected my appeal to earn money from my videos. (Without even watching the appeal video they asked for.) And also got strikes.

I’ve now lost my only source of income AND the sense of safety and value this channel and community once gave me.

Worse, I won’t earn a cent from the channel for the next three months until I can appeal again on Aug 22nd and then HOPEFULLY get it back.

I want to keep creating audiobooks for you, and I want to keep giving them to you for free. But I can’t do that without your help right now.

From what I’ve gathered, they seem to believe that my channel’s “reused” and “repetitive” ... most likely because it’s mostly audio-based. It’s possible they just don’t like that I make audiobooks… on a platform made for video.
It’s been shocking, stressful, and deeply disheartening.

But I don’t want to quit! Not yet!

I’m already working to improve the channel. I’ll be adding better visuals, more animated elements, and maybe even stepping out from behind the curtain (hello vlogs and Q&As…).

You’ve sent me the kindest, warmest, most beautiful words. Your support is why I’m still here. I haven’t had time to respond to everyone (I’ve been scrambling to figure out what to do next), but please know that I’ve read every word. And they’ve carried me.

I’m still heartbroken and furious at how unjust this is.

But I want to fight for this channel.
