The 30-year fixed mortgage rates have been all over the place since last year. Mainly with large, rapid increases and some small reductions over time. Due to the fight of inflation, these rates will likely not move a whole lot. If we se inflation go down in the middle of the summer, those rates might reverse and go down a little.

House prices are usually determined by supply and demand. Though the number of houses entering the market is projected to increase, the buyer demand remains very strong. With the demand for housing still outpacing supply, house prices will continue to appreciate; but at a much more moderate pace.
