Set one year after the events of Tomb Raider III: Adventures of Lara Croft, Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation follows Lara Croft as she is anonymously hired to raid the Tomb of Set in Egypt. Deep within the burial chambers—where the god Set had been imprisoned for millennia—Lara discovers and retrieves the Amulet of Horus. However, upon exiting the tomb and reading the inscriptions on the amulet, she realizes, too late, that she has inadvertently released Set, the God of Destruction, by removing the artifact from his sarcophagus, which had kept him sealed away.

With the seal broken, Set’s return is set in motion, allowing him to gradually regain his strength and approach the mortal realm, threatening to bring forth Armageddon. To prevent the impending catastrophe, Lara embarks on a perilous quest to recover the scattered pieces of Horus’s armor and summon the god himself, as only Horus has the power to defeat Set once and for all. ‪@tombraider‬
