On Wednesday, Bhadra 10, 2083 B.S., at 8:40 a.m., a devastating flood occurred in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa, causing significant loss of life and property.
The flood has affected the riverside areas of Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha, and other districts.
Immediately after the flood, the government intensified rescue, search, and relief operations in the affected areas. The process of collecting details of the human and physical damage caused by the flood is currently underway.
While it is essential to immediately move those affected by this disaster to safe locations, it is equally important to rehabilitate and resettle them in the long term.
Therefore, we sincerely appeal to everyone to provide financial assistance to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund and the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund under the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers. We request everyone to contribute as much as possible to the bank accounts mentioned below.
