The iPhone 17 series is here, and it’s (technically) more affordable in Malaysia!
The iPhone 17 continues to be priced from RM3,999 in Malaysia, BUT, it now comes with 256GB storage. You only get 128GB storage for the same price with last year’s iPhone 16, so this is technically a price drop (!!).
Then we have the shiny new (and super thin) iPhone Air - no, it’s not called the iPhone 17 Air. Anyway, it has the same Apple A19 Pro chip as the higher-end iPhone 17 Pro models, all at a lower RM4,999 starting price (256GB). Not bad!
Last but certainly not least are the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max. Starting at RM5,499 and RM5,999, there is essentially no price change as the base model for both phones is now 256GB. Previously, the smaller 16 Pro retailed at RM4,999, but that only gets you 128GB storage.
