🎸 Paul Brown

I’ve been playing guitar since cassette tapes were still a thing.

I played Bass Guitar in various Rock and Cover bands in Boston and Denver from 1973-1996. More recently I played rhythm guitar with the “Long-shot Jack Band” in the Tampa Bay Area and some occasional duos. I’ve also written and recorded a few original songs.

I’m a player who believes melody beats speed, songs beat solos, and tone starts in your fingers.

📖 Stories from gigs I’ve played and musicians I’ve worked with.

I strum and pick. I don’t shred.
Most of what I play is built on strong chords, tight hooks, and letting the music breathe. Most importantly letting it breathe!
