The Takeoff is back with an episode about community building featuring Ruby Romero of The Movement Creative!
Excited to get back into the swing of things this week - working on a 2025 USA Parkour Awards video for later this week and also hoping to film the "trying every subgenre of parkour" vid y'all voted on two weeks ago :)
Working on a few interesting video concepts right now and curious which of these you guys would like to see next! Trying to balance out all the podcasting with some actual training content haha
I got an epic day of jump training in last month with the StrengthSide guys - including a nice little standing pre at height - and the video is finally out!
Honestly, it's really refreshing to see athletes like Trevor and Josh look to parkour for skill and strength development...and I was happy to help them bump their broad jump distance quite a bit with some straightforward programming too.
Check out the video to see the program I gave them and catch some other solid techy tips for improving jump output and control :)
If you haven't seen this yet you need to check it out!
Got to work on the first all-women's parkour film last summer with eight amazingly talented athletes. What they were able to create together was such a perfect representation of parkour and we can't wait to share it with you!
