These NDC people are dolling out appointments not on merit but on blind loyalty. If indeed appointments are made on merit John Mahama, Health Minister and NHIA board will not have eggs on their faces.
Anne Sansa Daly was appointed to the board of NHIA and subsequently sworn in on May 27, 2025 by the Health Minister at the Health Ministry.
Fast forward, there was a massive exposê by Okatakyie Afrifa and his For the Records team which implicated Anne Sansa Daly as a fraudster and that she is not qualified to practice medicine anywhere in the world. Prior to this exposure, the Ghana Medical and Dental Council and the American Board of Physicians had in a joint letter said Anne Sansa was not licensed to practice medicine in Ghana and the US as she purported on air.
Today, May 28, 2025 Anne Sansa has been removed from the board of the NHIA. She has deleted her social media pages and is apparently on the run from the law.
In all these we ask what criteria is used to select people to serve in government. It's obvious it's not about competence, especially in the case of Anne Sansa Daly. Also there appear to be no background checks to fish out people of questionable character.
The NDC has to come clean to explain this colossal mess to Ghanaians.
