ก่อนที่จะมาเป็น ดารานาฏศิลป์ไทย ในปัจจุบัน…แม่ครูภารดีได้ทำการฝึกซ้อมรำไทยให้เด็กไทยและต่างชาติในเพิร์ธและบันบุรีมาก่อน ในช่วงตั้งแต่ปี 1994 ในช่วงนั้นอุปกรณ์และเครื่องแต่งกายหายากและค่อนข้างราคาสูง แม่ครูจึงได้ประดิษฐ์ประดอยและประยุกต์ตามความถูกต้องและเหมาะสม เพื่อที่จะได้เผยแพร่การแสดงไทยๆสู่ออสเตรเลีย

The story before Dara Thai Dancing School was formed:
The dance adviser ‘Mae Kru’ Paradee has started bringing Thai dancing to the people of Perth and Bunbury since 1994. She was teaching Thai, Asian and Caucasian children the arts of Thai dancing and Thai culture. Unfortunately, the traditional Thai dance costumes were very expensive and hard to source. So, Mae Kru Paradee had to use the locally available materials to adapt and made the costumes herself.
