The Heart of Bfly Bricks: The 1950s Dutch Modular City
Our flagship project, and a massive focus of the channel, is the highly detailed and 1950’s Dutch Modular City. This ambitious custom LEGO city project which captures the unique architecture, charm, and nostalgic atmosphere of the Netherlands in the mid-20th century. I have used non LEGO brands like Blue Brixx but every other modular building in this city—from canal houses to corner cafes—is a unique Bfly Bricks design.

A new logo for the channel. I was never quite happy with the previous version and I think this is clearer in conveying what the channel is about, especially with the Dutch building and the city map background.
I wasn't sure about reverting back to the pink and teal/blue colour palette, which I had when I started the channel 5years ago, but I think it works.

I'm currently working on two new skyscrapers for this area. I've filmed a lot of footage for shorts and regular videos but it's now the school holidays so I'm taking a two week break. I also have Summerlee Lego show next weekend, so simply no time to devote to producing content .
Will be back soon with a big update and hopefully a few new skyscrapers 😊

Putting the finishing touches to the ground floor of my latest modular for the city. It's a rather posh Bakery, using the LEGO stickers set from 2019. I've seen many other people do something similar, so I'm trying to be as original as possible with the build. I'll be working on the top four stories this weekend. Hopefully get a video out next Wednesday. Have a great weekend everyone 😊

Can't always be a slave to the algorithm, I tried to get the editing done on my latest video but it's the last week of the school holidays and I just can't get it finished for today. Juggling three children can sometimes take it's toll 😄😴

Been working on the city square which has a wee pond, and monuments to the Voortrekkers in South Africa. One is an old wagon used in the great trek of 1840. I used the base of the Bonzai tree for it, recoloured Sand Green. Not quite finished but taking shape. Video coming soon

Wife bought 20kgs of Lego from Facebay, slowly working my way through it, splitting the blues today, it was such a good price, worth it for the parts, but a lot of work firstly to wash it and now sorting it 😊
