Early Bird Ireland!

Welcome to Early Bird Ireland!

After years of rushing through city life, I made a change — I moved to the Irish countryside for peace, simplicity, and a slower rhythm. Now, every morning before sunrise, I spend two quiet hours just sitting with the birds… meditating, filming, and listening.

Most days start with the gentle tapping of a woodpecker, or the flutter of Blue tits, Robin, Chaffinches, Green Finch, Goldfinch, Sparrows, and Blackbirds in my garden. These small, natural moments have changed my life — and I believe it would be selfish not to share them with others who might be looking for the same kind of calm.

Early Bird Ireland is my way of inviting you into this quiet world.
No noise. No stress. Just birds, trees, soft light, and stillness.

Join me each dawn for peaceful Irish birds, mindful affirmations, and a reset for your busy mind. Subscribe to reclaim calm and simplicity, one morning at a time

SWALLOWS
Ireland's Amazing Summer Visitors

The Barn Swallow returns to Ireland every spring after an incredible migration from sub-Saharan Africa. Agile, graceful and unmistakable in flight, swallows have shared our farms, villages and countryside for centuries.

1. Incredible Migrants

Every year swallows travel around 9,000–10,000 km between Africa and Ireland.
Despite their size, many return to the very same nesting sites each spring.

2. Masters of the Air

Swallows spend much of their day flying.
Their long pointed wings and deeply forked tail allow them to turn quickly and catch insects with remarkable precision.

3. Nature's Pest Controllers

Swallows feed almost entirely on flying insects including

• flies
• midges
• mosquitoes
• flying beetles

Healthy swallow populations depend on healthy insect populations.

4. Mud Nest Builders

Swallows build cup-shaped nests from mud mixed with grass.
They usually place them inside barns, sheds, stables and under bridges where they are sheltered from rain.

5. Family Birds

Swallows often return to the same nesting area every year.
Both parents feed their chicks, making hundreds of feeding trips each day during the breeding season.

6. Why They Need Our Help

Swallows are experiencing declines in parts of Ireland and Europe.

Main threats include:

• fewer flying insects
• loss of nesting sites
• changes in farming practices
• climate change affecting migration and food availability

How You Can Help

✓ Never disturb an active nest.
✓ Leave access to barns and outbuildings where possible.
✓ Avoid unnecessary pesticide use.
✓ Create wildlife-friendly gardens that support insects.
✓ Appreciate these amazing birds from a respectful distance.

Did You Know?

Swallows cannot survive on seeds or bird feeders—they rely almost entirely on flying insects.

Early Bird Ireland!

What if a few quiet seconds could change the way you feel today…?

Over six months ago, we opened a small window into our garden — a gentle space filled with birdsong, soft music, and peaceful moments. A little piece of heaven we wanted to share with you.

And you stayed.

You subscribed. You came back. You filled this space with kindness, beautiful words, and support we never expected — and we feel it, every single day. Thank you for being here.

This is more than just videos for us.
It’s a slow, mindful beginning to each day… a reminder to pause, to breathe, to notice the quiet beauty that surrounds us — and within us.

Even the smallest moments — a bird landing nearby, a soft melody in the background — can gently bring you back to yourself.

And now, we’re opening the window a little wider…

“Garden Messengers: Stories from Our Feathered Friends”

A new weekly series where we’ll share the hidden lives of the birds visiting our garden — their beauty, their meaning, and the quiet messages they carry through everyday life.

They may be small… but their world is full of wonder.

Stay close… something beautiful is just beginning.

Behind the scenes of “Rewire Your Mind” 😃
While I edit affirmations about focus and peace… my cat (Winnie - my baby girl) is completely hypnotized by our bird videos.
Woodpecker is her favourite 😀
I guess we’re both rewiring our minds - just in a very different ways!

Early Bird Ireland!

Somehow, an entire month has passed and you actually chose to spend your time… watching a bird do absolutely nothing.

For that, I’m absurdly grateful — and slightly concerned about all of us 😀

Still, from this small, feathered beginning,
something oddly meaningful is taking shape.

Affirmation for us all: “Even the most uneventful starts can lead to surprisingly grand transformations.”

Thank you and keep watching! 🐦 🪶
