You can't have Summer without Sunflowers in your garden. This is my 9 foot Sun King Sunflower about to bloom!!! Super easy to grow, just direct sow your seeds where you want them to grow and keep the soil moist. Give it a feed of liquid fertiliser once a week and that's it!!! Will give you all an update once it fully blooms!!!

Hey guys a little update on the Eggplant seeds I sowed. They have popped up already!!!! Always exciting when you see your seeds have been successful!!! I feel like the key to successful direct sowing is to keep the soil consistently moist and water everyday if you can 🤗🍆☀️!!!

After all the rain and just life being really busy, I finally got back into the garden the last couple of days!!! So nice just to get back into it, weeding and pruning up this Birdies garden bed!!! Such a difference a couple hours makes!!! Here's a before and after picture!!!! Still need to top it up with fresh soil and start planting again!!! Was pleasantly suprised to see alot of new tomato seedlings underneath the mess too lol!!! Remember don't feel bad if the garden gets a bit out if control, we can easily fix it!!!!

Don't feel bad if your garden is looking like mine at the moment. It's been raining here for nearly a whole month now. The summer weather has been all over the place this year. Raining for weeks on end, then extreme heat, then thunderstorms. I looked in this Birdies bed yesterday after we manged to mow the yard before the storms rolled in again and seen my Yellow Pear Tomatoes still thriving. Hope to get in soon and stake them up and start planting more vegetable seeds for the new year!!! This one bed has performed so well this year with lettuce, carrots, onions and tomatoes. I will document the process as I go clearing, refurbishing and planting!!!! I hope everyone has a lovely New Year and stay safe!!! Next year will be the best one yet!!! Thank you to everyone who has subscribed to my Channel!!! I have a lot of different content, gardening, decorating and documenting my frequent travels to India.
