Nekomata
Nekomata, a Milan, Italy-based band formerly known as Project Kasha, is composed of Filippo Zavattari on bass and backing vocals, Andrea Cappellari on guitars and programming, Andrea Olivieri on vocals, and Alberto Mezzanotte on drums. The band has recently rebranded and released two singles, "Call to Arms" and "Algorithmically Imperfect," from their debut album "โฆAnd Then, The Abusement Park Left Town" (2022) via Revalve Records. With Power Core being the uncharted genre territory of their own making, Nekomata lives at the intersection of Power Metal, Metalcore & Death, building complex melodic hooks on ripping riffs. Seasoned with cinematic electronics, their clean, harmonized vocals surprise with contrasting growls, but above all with a touch of bittersweet glam.
