I've been recording bands in a live setting for over 30 years.. After ten years shooting concerts, and trading live concert videos, I focused on going pro. I've been editing professionally since 2004. I've shot over 350 concert performances, (over 100 of them multi camera) In 2010 I formed a small home based video production company specializing in multi-cam live music performance videos. We also produce documentaries, and promotional videos. My Portfolio includes bands like D.B.X. (Hanging Out At The Pound DVD), Gwar ("Bring Back the Bomb" and "Womb With a View" promos, GBQ 13 DVD, Blood Bath and Beyond DVD), Cannibal Corpse (Vile Live DVD, Centuries of Torment DVD, "Red Before Black" promo video), Exodus (Making of blood In Blood Out DVD), Autopsy (Born Undead DVD) and Psychosomatic ("Grand Mal Seizure", "Riot Squadron" and "Personality Agenda" promos). Skitzo ("Curse Of The Phoenix" promo and the 30 YEARS Anniversary Concert DVD)

well well well.. how life changes alllll around til you dont recognize your own life anymore. 57 and i still get surprised by how things can happen. 1st off, a few months back my wife and i decided to buy a house. we got all our bills and taxes paid off, had a down payment saved up, applied for a home loan, and we were both pretty surprised how much we qualified for. started looking at places and found one that fit what we both wanted. packed up all our stuff and loaded 3 pods, took 5 truckloads and 7 carloads of stuff to the new place, and now here we are, all moved in. still unpacking though. i have an important show tonight. its going to be my 1st time shooting officially as DVC at the UC theater in berkeley. and ive been wanting to shoot that room for several years now. now the day has finally come and i cant find the batteries for the hdr ax53 cams. theyre in a small case somewhere in a box in the garage! ive been looking everywhere for that case and i cant find it! so it looks like i might be shooting the show with my 3 old canons. and maybe a gopro. so thats kinda weird. this whole situation is just weird and fucked up. but whatever. im gonna have one last go at finding the batteries, but if i dont, im gonna old school that shit and hope for the best. regardless, its gonna be a banger of a show. midnight, hirax, sacred reich, vio-lence and dfa. stacked lineup. wish me luck. secondly, ive got some los straitjackets and reverend horton heat footage shot with my new cel, waiting for me to set up the workstation computer so i can edit and post it here. which, since my new bigger studio is basically still a room full of boxes, might not happen for a few weeks. anyways. yaaay! oh, also, i lost 30 lbs. cheers!

oh! i almost forgot. i have been removed from facebook. my personal profile is gone. both of them. the DVC page is still up.. for the time being. i dont know what will happen to it. but i am no longer posting public links to my videos on youtube there. so im not sure where ill be going.. i am still on X and Reddit.. but i havent really done anything with those sites. maybe soon? i dont know. i have some real life shit i have to attend to, and it aint fun stuff. so its probably gonna be some time before i get back to posting links anywhere on social media sites. so let people know, they need to come here and subscribe if they wanna see the good stuff as soon as it comes out. Cheers! thanks for watching!!

well CDF VII was a blast! i shot a bunch of footage, this time was a solo mission. the 1st day was balcony tripod action for the 1st 4 bands then down on the floor for soilent green cancer and dismember. day 2 i multi cammed all the bands. 2 cams for funeral chant oath of cruelty and power from hell. 3 cams for evil dead sacrifice and sodom. 4 for hirax. all the bands were great, highlights for me were definitely dismember sodom and sacrifice. hirax was amazing. evil dead was cool. i also dug oath of cruelty. sacrifice was tight as fuck and great. dismember were absolutely amazing and killer. SODOM stole the entire show and capped it all off with a 90 min set of some of the fastest and heaviest metal on the planet. they fuckin ruled so hard! had a great time hangin out and seeing friends marcelle and sonny from vorlust, ross from exhumed, sam caparros from stench reel.. tom, jason and geza from the metro. amy strong! who got to see slayer and then came to cdf! danny from reality check. who told me hes basically retired. and i met some new friends too. chris broyles a taper with 20+ years experience, was up in the balcony with me, recording with a new iphone, when i introduced myself, he who knew i was and my stuff. and literally told me my tapes were legendary. it was an honor to hear that. i shared some stories with him about dan nicholson, gary shurtleff and jerry allen, and what we were up to in the 90's and 2000's. gareth morris from dullahan prod. who recorded the audio with a 24 track digital recording. another friend rodney benjamin from high school who came up and said thank you for recording, documenting, and everything ive done to help keep the scene thriving. which was also an honor to hear. i also bought a bunch of records from the sacrifice merch booth, the new 7" hirax from anne at the hirax merch booth. and a bunch of old metal and punk records from driptone reocrds from LA, who were here slingin wax at the show. had a few beers, some food. yeah. good times. soooo.. i will be putting out some of the footage asap. probably 1 song from each band for right now. like usual. and then later on, full sets. Cheers!! keep on watching this channel!! as chuck schuldiner once wrote on my leprosy picture disc.. "METAL 4 EVER!!"

The channel has now surpassed the 3,700 mark for subscribers! That's incredible! thank you to all the new subscribers and everyone who come here to watch and hit the like button! I really appreciate it! The Pantera Las Vegas 97 video that Dan shot has been crazy to watch go from under a 100 views to 25k plus in about a year or so. the top ten list changes so dramatically. I never thought the Jeff Hanneman video would drop off the list , ever! It did and came back, twice! I also never thought Dan's Manson Warfield 97 video would explode too, but it did. Thanks again to everyone who comes to this channel to watch my videos or Dan's videos. Cheers!
