Calligraphy With Me
Hey everyone,
We just crossed the 1.5K subscribers milestone. Honestly, I was too lazy to post this 😅
but yeah, thank you so much.
Each one of you is precious to this channel, like a jewel in a crown. Even the finest, tiniest details matter and that’s exactly what makes it precious.
Do you know Why is this channel named Calligraphy With Me and not something else?
Let me share the idea behind it.
The reason is simple: I always wanted to build a community that practices alongside me. People who share the same journey, grow at the same pace, and evolve together.
When I started this channel four years ago, my calligraphy journey started with it.
How to grow exceptionally in calligraphy?
According to my subtle mind:
Mount your camera on a tripod, pick the camera angle, start recording and just write whatever you want.
Yes, you heard it right.
I don’t know if this works for other niches, but I’m definitely sure it works for calligraphy.
There’s a different kind of energy that gathers in your hand-nib coordination when the camera is on.
You won’t even realize it, but you slowly get used to calligraphy on a deeper level.
Now let me explain why this works.
Calligraphy is still not a highly recognized skill (though it’s quite fancy to say “I’m a calligrapher”).
And the truth is — not everyone can do it.
Not everyone has hand–nib coordination.
Not everyone can draw straight lines and curves at the same time.
And above all, not everyone can align their mind, hand, and eye to carve their inner self onto paper.
I remember a line attributed to Iqbal (paraphrased in English):
"His nature is filled with new ideas and seeks expression,
Thus, he brings a new world into being"
This beautifully reflects the artistic idea of internal thoughts transforming into something tangible something that becomes a memory on paper.
So yes, calligraphy is still not widely recognized, and because of that, you need external factors to stay hooked.
Social media does this really well. You find an audience, you find direction, and that initial dopamine keeps pushing you deeper both into calligraphy and content creation.
It worked for me.
And I truly believe it can work for anyone.
Keep writing.
And by the way, this is our new channel logo :)
Although I don’t have a specialty in the logo niche, I’m trying to blend different skills into one. The main idea I’m hoping to reach is blending illustration sketches with calligraphy inks.
See you all'

Calligraphy With Me
This channel now has over 300k views, small achievements, but it has been a purely nostalgic journey, especially after I paused YouTube 2 years ago. It’s truly a great feeling to see this channel reviving again!
It reminds me of a poem by Robert Frost:
The woods are lovely,
Dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
We’re also on the verge of hitting 1.5k subscribers, can’t wait to reach that too,
Here's a glimpse of this journey, and also the logo rebranding of this channel :)

Calligraphy With Me
Hey my amazing art community,
Long time no see? I want to tell you all that I'm quitting! Last month, I lost all of my calligraphy supplies, and it's not possible to recover from that soon. It'll take me months to build up again. Just wanted to communicate with you all, This journey and this community are close to my heart. I'll never forget you all and those learning moments and experiences.
I got to know about calligraphy from a stranger who was a calligrapher. He gifted a nameplate written in gothic calligraphy, and looking at that made me feel astonished. That was the first time I got to know about this calligraphy thing. Then, the very next week, I took a fountain pen (found it somewhere in my home haha), recorded my first calligraphy word: "satisfying letters." It's still on my channel, just switch to the oldest videos tab and you'll see it. Then probably after months, someone gifted me a Pilot Parallel Pen, the pen that transformed my calligraphy journey, became my companion, and helped me understand the language of letters. I never took out a special slot for practising, I've always done it while multitasking, like talking to a friend on the phone and practising letters. I don't know why, but it works for me.
What is calligraphy?
It's meditation. It's not just writing on paper and concentrating to not lose finger balance. It's the moment your soul and mind work together, your physical self and inner self become united. To all the beginners out there, I want to say: just keep going, keep writing. In the calligraphy community, we say "keep writing" so will you, I know.
After these four years of journey, these tools transformed my calligraphy into a different self, like a light that guided me and then disappeared. That's what these tools were to me. I can't express it.....maybe one day I'll return and say, "Hey, I'm back."
And yes, I will be back. And I'll give my best to make sure that everyone who’s willing to learn calligraphy I can help them, teach them for free, and make calligraphy easy to learn. And that’s why I created this channel. Reading its description makes me dive into an ocean of countless memories, like a wave of emotions that hits a fish stranded on the shore, only to carry it back to the ocean again.
Letting go isn’t the end, it’s the beginning of becoming something even more powerful, more you. Calligraphy is such a skill that gives you respect on your own differentiates you from others. Keep going and keep writing.
That's all I want to say. If you're reading this till now, you have my respect. Even if there are no comments, I know some of you will read it till here, and some of you will contribute to this calligraphy community more than I ever did.
Have a great journey ahead.
Thank you,
