🚨 STOP SCROLLING—THIS IS RARE BROOKLYN HISTORY! 🚨

This powerful late-1970s to early-1980s New York prison photograph features members of four legendary Brooklyn street organizations: The Dirty Ones, Montauk Chest Breakers, Crazy Homicides and Turban Saints.
Even behind bars, members continued representing their respective organizations through unauthorized jailhouse artwork displaying their names, colors and symbols. These handmade pieces provide a rare look inside a largely undocumented chapter of Brooklyn and New York prison history.

The Dirty Ones originated in Williamsburg and remain active today as a national motorcycle club. The Crazy Homicides represented East New York alongside The Montauk Chest Breaker but very few original photographs of MCB have surfaced.

📸 Calling all former MCB members, relatives and Brooklyn old-timers: If you possess authentic Montauk Chest Breakers photographs, memorabilia or information, message Me or leave a comment. Contributors will be tagged and credited in future historical posts.

These photographs are portals into the past. Respect and appreciation go to the photographers who preserved these moments before they disappeared forever.

BROOKLYN HISTORY CAUGHT IN ONE RARE PHOTO! 😮🔥
Courtesy of Beltran PM Estrella, this incredible late-1970s early-1980s image features members of the Brooklyn, New York street gang known as the Outlaw Riders—who later changed their name to The Riders.
Like several classic New York street gangs, they eventually evolved into a motorcycle club. The Riders MC remained active into more recent years.
Take a close look at those original colors—and check out that wild T-shirt on the left! 👀

🕯️RIP Red, an original member who was still with the organization after it became The Riders MC. His place in Brooklyn history will not be forgotten.

🚨 STOP SCROLLING—THIS IS RARE NYC STREET-GANG HISTORY!
This historic photo captures a member of the Manhattan Division of the Seven Immortals proudly showing his original colors during the 1970s.
Founded in The Bronx in 1971 and led by Victor Diamond, the Seven Immortals quickly expanded into Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn and Coney Island, cementing their place alongside the biggest New York City street gangs of the era.

Music mogul Russell Simmons was reportedly the warlord of the Queens 17th Young Immortals Division, while the Coney Island 14th Division was led by Black Blue—RIP.
When discussing NYC’s most influential gangs of the 1970s, the Seven Immortals must be included with the Big Boys!

🫡 Salute to Indio and Lillian from the Bronx Division and Cisco from the Queens Division

🔥 RARE RESTORED NYC STREET HISTORY! This powerful photograph captures members of The Javelins inside their Bronx clubhouse during the 1970s—wearing the legendary orange-and-black colors that became synonymous with their organization.

Originally founded during the late 1960s as the Vyse Tigers, they later changed their name to The Javelins but preserved their original tiger colors. During the 1970s, The Javelins also established divisions in Lower Manhattan and Queens, N.Y.
Look closely at the incredible old-school silk gang jacket. Although these jackets were strongly associated with earlier decades, some NYC street organizations continued wearing them during the 1970s. Another Bronx organization known as The Turbans also wore 1960s-style silk jackets.

The Javelins’ unmistakable center patch featured their signature orange evil genie. Search through my older posts and videos to find rare footage featuring the Lower East Side division led by martial artist Nathan Ingram.
Salute to The Javelins and Royal Javelins everywhere. Their story is permanently part of authentic NYC street history.

Among the strongest were the 21st Division in Astoria, Queens, the 17th Division in Queens, and the famous 14th Division in Coney Island, Brooklyn.
The Seven Immortals also had a women's division in the Bronx led by Lillian, Diamond's girlfriend, making them one of the notable organizations of their era.
