Poetry for Heart

"How often two people share the exact same tongue,
Yet live as strangers with worlds between their chests!
The communion of the soul is an entirely different language:
The harmony of the heart is far greater than the words of the mouth."

Poetry for Heart

When we feel spiritually fatigued, anxious, or hardened by life's disappointments, we often look for complicated intellectual solutions to fix our inner state. We try to analyze our way out of sadness or build thicker emotional walls to protect ourselves.

But in the opening verses of the Masnavi, Rumi reveals the ultimate medicine for the human spirit: authentic Love is the master physician. When true love awakens in your chest, it dissolves the heavy sickness of pride, the exhausting hunger of greed, and the paralyzing fear of vulnerability. Love softens what is rigid and illuminates what is dark. Today, do not harden your heart against the world, let love be the gentle healer of your soul. 🤍

"Love entered my being like blood flowing through my veins,
Emptying me of myself, filling me with the Beloved.
Every part of my existence has been claimed by Love;
Only a name remains of me, and all the rest is Him."
