Have you ever been prompted to support an online ministry, but then wondered where your gift was really making an impact? πŸ€”

Let's talk about being prayerfully discerning with our giving when there are so many YouTube Christian Content Creators.

It’s incredible to see so many digital ministries doing amazing work, and we all want to support them in a way that honors God.

But as we do, it's also good to be prayerfully discerning about where we give. We can be a part of their success by looking for things like:

1. Biblical Integrity: Does their teaching align with God's Word? πŸ“–

2. Financial Transparency: Are they open and clear about how they use donations? πŸ’°

3. Accountability: Do they have a local church or a body that provides oversight?β›ͺ

4. Modeling Generosity: Are the leaders modeling the same biblical generosity they ask of others? ❀️

Over the past year, I've had a conviction from the Holy Spirit to gently offer suggestions to ministries about their giving pages. The intention is to serve them by helping them improve their donor stewardship. My expertise comes from a decade in donor relations, stewardship and fundraising for non profits.

I've offered plenty of helpful strategies and suggestions, often without a response, but I trust in the Lord’s purpose for this work.

On this YouTube channel, I’ve started sharing examples of what a lack of donor stewardship can look like, without naming names. With a gift of discernment, I was able to see where one ministry with over 90,000 subscribers needed support. They would ask for financial gifts on live streams but sent no thank-you communications to donors.

As a donor myself, I only received a PayPal receiptβ€”no thank-you note or regular email communications like an impact report. Without this kind of stewardship, trust can be lost. πŸ˜₯

I wrote directly to them multiple times with plentiful support and gentle correction. No reply. A few months later, the host announced that partners were leavingβ€”a clear sign of poor donor stewardship.

My hope is that we can all learn from this and help each other steward well. 🀝

This is what I'm doing in this space: helping ministries grow and have a better impact. 🌱

The Platform Paradox

The Paradox of the Prospering Platform πŸ€”

It's a pattern I've noticed: Christian content creators on You Tube whose platforms are exploding with views and shares, yet their personal "sowing" into ministries and their local church seems to be shrinking. πŸ“‰

Are they being incredibly obedient in their content creation, but missing a vital step in living a generous life? πŸ™

This isn't about judgment, but about recognizing a crucial disconnect. God blesses the platform, yes, but are we truly stewarding all He's given us, including our finances, for His Kingdom? πŸ‘‘

What are your thoughts on this? I'd love to hear your perspective in the comments below!

Is Your Digital Ministry's Email List a Goldmine or Just... There? πŸ“§

Are you a Christian Content Creator, Prophet, or leader of a Deliverance Ministry?

You've got an online ministry, and people can give financially – that's amazing!

You’ve got an email list – that's a great start! But is it truly a powerful tool for cultivating generosity and sharing your ministry's impact, or is it just sitting there, gathering digital dust?

Many ministries face common pitfalls:

πŸ—“οΈ maybe you're sending sporadic updates,

πŸ—£οΈ not clearly articulating the incredible impact of your prophetic ministry, local outreach or deliverance work,

😳 or even feeling a bit hesitant to ask for donations or offerings.

But what if your emails could build deeper trust, inspire more giving, and create sustainable support for your vital work?

Here are 3 actionable tips to transform your ministry's email communication:

1. Tell Compelling Stories πŸ“–
Don't just share updates; showcase the incredible impact of donations. Instead of saying "We need funds for evangelism," try "Your support helped us reach X number of souls last month, transforming lives through the power of Christ!" Personal stories connect with hearts and inspire generosity.

2. Craft Gentle Invitations to Sow 🌿
It's not about being pushy! Focus on gently inviting people to sow into your vision. Clearly explain how their gift contributes to specific initiatives like ministry tours, outreach programs, or essential overheads. When people understand the "why," giving becomes a joyful partnership.

3. Be Consistent & Clear with Your Calls to Action βœ…
Building relationships takes time and consistency. Send regular, valuable emails that nurture your community. And when you do ask, make it crystal clear and easy for people to give. A simple, well-placed "See you here to partner with us!" can make all the difference.

Strong email communication builds trust, loyalty, and sustainable financial support, reducing reliance on unpredictable algorithms. It empowers your ministry to keep doing God's work without interruption.

Unlock Deeper Giver Insights! πŸ’‘

Hey Christian content creators and online pastors! πŸ‘‹ Are you regularly reviewing your donation notes? πŸ“

These aren't just administrative detailsβ€”they're a goldmine of information about your supporters' hearts and prompts for financial giving! ❀️

Want to take it a step further? Consider surveying your givers! πŸ“Š Ask them directly:

- What specifically prompts them to give financially to your ministry?
- What kind of impact stories or information would they love to hear more of? πŸ“£

Understanding these perspectives can help you tailor your content, communication, and fundraising efforts to better serve your community and further your mission.

πŸ“’ Calling all online ministries and Christian content creators! Let's talk about the heart of what you do. ❀️

If your online ministry isn't actively helping people get rooted into a local church and genuine fellowship, then you might be building fans, not disciples. There's a big difference!

Your goal isn't to make your name and platform known. It's truly about making His name known and giving God all the glory! πŸ”₯

I've been in ministry for several months now, after coming out of the New Age, my gift of discernment and discerning spirits has sharpened, rooted in the Word and fellowshipping. I've noticed a trend where online ministries seem to be focusing more on building a brand, chasing partnerships, and securing guest spots on podcast interviews. πŸ€”

If your online ministry – whether you're a prophet, deliverance minister, evangelist, or content creator – isn't pointing people to Jesus and leading them back to plugging into local, in-person fellowship and church, then you're making followers of you, not disciples for Christ Jesus.

This isn't about becoming famous; it's about faithfulness. It's not about your name, but His! ✝️

Let's use our discernment fellow believers. These are some signs of questionable or fake ministries. Always seek ministries that genuinely lead people to Jesus and His body, the Church. β›ͺ

πŸ” Discerning Online Ministries: 10 Gentle Signs πŸ•ŠοΈ

Hey friends! πŸ‘‹ Navigating the online ministry landscape with Christian content creators, prophetic voices, and deliverance ministries can be tricky. Here are some gentle indicators that might signal a questionable online ministry. Let's grow in discernment together! πŸ™

1️⃣ Gifts and no fruit: 🎁 Are the outward displays matched by the inner fruit of the Spirit? Galatians 5:22-23 reminds us of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. ❀️

2️⃣ Undermining local churches & pastors: β›ͺ️ Healthy ministries build up, not tear down, the local body. Hebrews 10:25 encourages us not to neglect meeting together.

3️⃣ Unteachable: πŸ‘‚ They might resist learning from experts in areas like donor relations or be unwilling to take constructive feedback and corrections for their ministry's growth. Proverbs 19:20 says, "Listen to advice and accept discipline, and at the end you will be counted among the wise."

4️⃣ No discipleship: 🌱 Are they encouraging you (and are they themselves) to be discipled? Matthew 28:19 calls us to "make disciples."

5️⃣ No direct 1:1 accountability/mentor: πŸ€” If their "accountability" is only through online groups without a clear, direct mentor (especially a pastor), it can be a red flag. Iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17).

6️⃣ Not plugged into a local church: πŸ”— We are the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:27). Connection matters.

7️⃣ Focus on taking, not giving: πŸ’° Be discerning if there's a heavy emphasis on you sowing financially while they don't seem to participate in giving themselves (no mention of tithing or sowing). Watch out for demands to give to their ministry, charges for things like "prophetic words," or attempts to manipulate your generosity by highlighting their effort ("I do this for you"). Remember the contrast with the widow's offering in Luke 21:1-4, where true giving came from sacrifice, not demand.

8️⃣ Partnering only for exposure: 🀝 Authentic partnership is about the Kingdom, not just connections.

9️⃣ Doesn’t teach from the Word: πŸ“– The Bible is our foundation (2 Timothy 3:16).

πŸ”Ÿ Doesn't share their own testimony of generosity: πŸ’Έ Our lives should reflect generosity (2 Corinthians 9:7).

These signs can be subtle. Discernment comes through prayer and seeking God's wisdom. πŸ™

The Word of God frequently warns us about false teachers (e.g., Matthew 7:15, 2 Peter 2:1). Discerning these signs is important, and while Scripture calls us to address false teaching with wisdom and love, our aim should be discernment, not to become mere "heresy hunters."
