Heart's Scales was dreamt up by a couple of dedicated animal lovers with a snake hobby; Tryniti & Dex.

Tryniti Heart is the voice of Heart's Scales and is a certified Pet Nutrition Specialist with over a decade of experience working with companion animals and was a Naturalist at a Wildlife Park & Preserve in Washington State before moving to Minnesota, where she joined the Minnesota Herpetelogical Society (MHS).

Dex Heart is a Senior Game Design Lead adept at research, applying logic, and providing dedicated care, and thoughtful strategy for whatever he pursues.

Together, this husband and wife duo document and share their journey into caring for, and eventually breeding, Plains Hognose snakes, and other critters, with a shared passion to have animals which are well-nourished, enjoy regular, positive social interaction, and are absolutely gorgeous.
