I know I’ve been absent, and I feel that I owe you all an explanation.
Over the past several months, I’ve been dealing with some major health challenges. I was diagnosed with lupus, and more recently, I’ve been navigating a brain tumor diagnosis. Between doctor appointments, tests, treatments, and just trying to process everything emotionally and physically, I simply haven’t had the strength or energy to show up the way I wanted to.
To be honest, there were days when creating content wasn’t even on my mind because I was focused on making it through the day.
But one thing I’ve missed so much is this community. I’ve missed cooking with y’all, laughing with y’all, reading your comments, and sharing pieces of my life with you. This channel has always been so much more than recipes to me, it’s family.
I’m not completely back to myself yet, and I’m learning to give myself grace as I navigate this new chapter. But I’m feeling the strong desire to pick up my camera again, get back in the kitchen, and do what I love.
So, I guess my question is… if I come back, are y’all still here? ❤️
