With over a billion completely grassroots cross platform streams, Miracle Of Sound is the project of Gavin Dunne, an independent producer/songwriter & singer from Ireland. The songs span a vast range of genres & styles, from dark folk to symphonic metal to sea shanties, cultivating a wide and varied audience over the last decade.
The project has had hundreds of chart appearances and a couple of ultra-viral hits, including the Viking history anthem Valhalla Calling, which has gone on to spawn countless cover versions, viral moments and remixes.
He has worked on cross promotion with various videogame industry companies including Ubisoft, Bioware, Owlcat/Games Workshop, EA and Bethesda for titles such as Mass Effect, Assassin’s Creed, Warhammer 40k, Wasteland 2 and Watch Dogs.
Miracle Of Sound songs are loved for their addictive, catchy hooks, strong emotional punch and a ridiculously diverse range of genres, styles & song structures while always maintaining the MOS 'feel'.

What's been happening in the MOS world?
Now that touring is almost finished for a while, (last leg is in August) I've been really inspired and feeling a huge need to make loads of new music.
Well, first off there's a cool videogame collab coming soon with a really great developer. Should be here in September.
I've also spent the last 2 years working on an entire album of Celtic/Irish themed songs. Very excited about this project :) The songs are a mix of very personal and very universal. Celtic mythology & Irish traditional music also play a big role.
It has 10 new songs as well as an Irish trad-flavoured Sirona remake - and it even has 3 songs with Irish Gaelic lyrics.
We will be doing a kickstarter for this album soon, so that we can do proper artwork, proper music videos, full publicity & promotion etc... exciting times!
Then most of 2027 and hopefully late 2026 will be dedicated to getting back to some old school MOS; good fun, genre-diverse gaming/nerd culture songs. I've been missing making those as much as you guys have missed getting them! And we GOTTA have at least one GTA6 song....
Oh - and there's a Beneath The Black Flag remaster coming in a few weeks too!

To those who are asking - it was created by the very talented artist Maria Sanyuk, who also did the artwork for Skal in 2023, Grainne Mhaol in 2024 and the Valhalla Calling Trio Version, back in 2022.

Hey folks, we discovered after launch that the artist who made our London Town artwork used generative AI as part of its creation, despite previously assuring us that this wasn't the case.
To be clear, we are opposed to using Generative AI in art and we have replaced the single cover with this great new one by PieMakesArt.
It can take a few days for changes to happen on platforms so we appreciate your patience 🙏

In 2014 this song was rejected from the AAA videogame it had been created for.
I always liked it, so in 2021 I finished & self released it. It has just passed twenty million streams on Spotify and 3 million Youtube views. 🤘
Moral of the story: Don't let failures or setbacks stop you in your tracks; closed doors often lead to an opened one somewhere else!
