100k subscribers is surreal.

I still remember the days of making videos that nobody would even watch. I'm not kidding, I literally spent 2 years of my life working on YouTube content with an audience of practically 0.


Since then, I feel like I've improved so much at my craft, got to meet a ton of other amazing content creators in the industry, had the amazing privilege of consulting on the newest Arkham game (and also was featured in the credits? How cool is that?) , and so many other great memories along the way.

But this? The fact that there are now 100 THOUSAND of you out there who care enough to be subscribed to the channel? I think tops everything thus far.

Well, I was hoping what BAV reported yesterday would turn out to be false, but unfortunately, it seems all but officially confirmed that nearly everyone at Camouflaj has been laid off and a Batman: Arkham Shadow sequel has been cancelled (even though it might've been in development by a completely different studio instead? Either way it doesn't matter anymore).

Extremely sad situation all around, especially considering how big of a success Batman: Arkham Shadow was. The team clearly poured their heart and soul into delivering us one more true Arkham game after nearly a decade, and it was simply amazing. Genuinely, I think it's one of the best games I've ever played, and despite ALL of the difficulty trying to record on Meta's headsets, I've never had more fun creating content on a game.

My heart goes out to the entire former dev team and everyone else involved that's been negatively impacted. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors, and you forever have a fan in me! Thanks for a fantastic new entry into the Arkham franchise🥹

I'm also trying to finish up an Arkham Origins Christmas Special for next week, but it's one REALLY long challenge run so it might arrive a bit late

In the meantime, we're SO CLOSE to 100k! Hopefully we can get there by the end of the year because that would be amazing

Apologies for disappearing for a while, I've actually been working on a very special video in the background for these past 7 MONTHS, and it's finally done!

Tomorrow, we'll be covering any and all cut content related to Batman Arkham's Boss Fights; whether the boss had a bunch of different attacks removed from their arsenal, underwent a serious rework before launch and was originally supposed to be VERY different from what we ultimately got, or was even taken out of an Arkham game completely, never to be heard from again, this video has it all🦇
