We are The Elrod Family! We are a family of eight just following our calling… HORSES!❤️
Our ranch operates as two parts.

At 8E Rescue Ranch we rescue-rehab-and safely rehome those that are at risk of the slaughter pipeline. We take in owner surrenders, auction saves, and often times partner with other NFP rescues as needed.
8E is a registered NFP organization.

At Sunset Fields Equine we operate a quality gaited horse program and business.
We provide age appropriate horse training, riding and therapuetic lessons for children, individuals with disabilities, and adults to build riding skills and horse ownership.
Often we help owners on how to provide good care and proper nutrition to their equine. And so much more!

If only rescuing horses were our thing! #puppyrescue

We have seven dogs on our ranch and 6 of the seven have been owner surrender, roadside find, or FREE to a good home or they die rescues.

I said no more… but could you refuse this little boys face?!
We got this little girl home to find she was lethargic, dry-warm nose, and infested with fleas. She will be good as new in a few days!

I have also helped find a home for 2 more from this litter. Just one more to go!
