Eric Schroeder

Music written and recorded by Eric Schroeder — no AI. My process starts in Pro Tools, laying down drums with EZ Drummer, sometimes replacing them with live drums like in WarriorX. From there I layer bass, multiple guitar tracks, and occasional keys, though I often create synth-like textures using guitar effects. Once the songs are composed, I collaborate globally with vocalists through platforms like Fiverr — one of my favorite parts of the process.

WarriorX took over a year to complete and featured collaborations with Berzan Onen, Marco Minnemann, Jennifer Batten, and Josquin des Pres. While metal isn’t my primary genre, the project turned out incredible. My current project, The Easy Hours, leans more into an 80s-inspired modern vibe.

Outside music, I channel the same creativity into reimagining enterprise software and AI-driven apps, simplifying complex systems into modern AI-native experiences. cogentwest.com/
