Good morning everyone,

There will be no long form video posting today. Today would have been Marshmellows birthday and I wanted to keep the day solely about him and honoring his memory. He loved birthdays and whenever we sang happy birthday because he was around his favorite people and always got a little treat, even if it wasn’t his birthday.

We all love and miss you so much. Even though this year looks different, we will always celebrate your birthday 🎉 I know you are still here, just in a different way. Marshmellow loved birthdays and when anyone sang happy birthday (because he knew he’d get a little treat).

Marshmellow, I have loved you your whole life, and will miss you for the rest of mine. Our time together was cut way too short and I’ll never understand why. They say time heals the pain, but some days are harder than others and it’s been tough experiencing firsts without you physically here. I am still shocked that you are no longer here with us and how things ended. Nobody will understand the bond that we have. We were on our own little schedule together and would even share my pillow at night. I’d go to sleep and wake up with you cuddled in my arms 🥹 I miss that so much. Even though I adapted to a new routine and doing things that bring me joy temporarily, life just isn’t the same without you.

You will always be my first baby no matter what. You are the one that made me a mom, I will always worry about you and think about what you are doing. As your mom, I hope that you crossed the rainbow bridge smoothly, met my grandma and cousin John to guide you. I hope you are healthy and seeing how loved and missed you are by all of us 💙 You have taught me so much during our time together and what unconditional love is. Still, I am learning so much from you and have been seeing signs from you when I need it 💙
