Hi everyone,

This week’s Members Only video will be published on Saturday morning.

First of all, I want to apologise for there being no Members video last week and for this week’s slight delay. I’ve been working on a few behind-the-scenes projects that I can’t make public just yet. As you can imagine, they’ve taken up a huge amount of my time, along with the odd side hustle to help cover the rent!

That said, I’m really looking forward to this week’s video. It’ll be all about the Escort, and I think you’re going to enjoy it.

Then, on Saturday afternoon (or Saturday evening at the latest, with Sunday morning as a backup), I’ll also have a video from RS Combe. That should be an absolute cracker! I’ve got a few mini interview slots lined up with some amazing people and some incredible cars, so I’m hoping to put together a proper full-length feature covering the event. It’s shaping up to be a fantastic day.

Looking ahead, the week after next I’ve got a week off from the day job, and I’ll be throwing as much time as possible into the RS Turbo Fiesta restoration. Hopefully—and I do mean hopefully—we’ll get the remaining welding finished, if Dylan can manage to get some time off work! After that, the plan is to get all the seam sealing done, apply the Raptor stone-chip coating, and, if everything goes well, even get some base coat on. I’m also hoping to get the rear beam back on and finally have the car back on its wheels, ready for the bodywork prep.

I can genuinely see the light at the end of the tunnel now
 it’s getting closer!

As always, thank you all so much for your continued support. It really does mean a lot and helps keep the channel going.

I’ll see you all on Saturday for the Members video. I’ll try to get a few Shorts uploaded in the meantime, but until then, keep watching, stay subscribed, and thanks again for being part of the journey!

On today’s feature of subscribers’ cars, we have Andrew’s small-turbo Escort Cosworth. But this isn’t just any small-turbo Escort Cosworth—it’s an incredibly rare example.
At first glance, you might assume it’s a 909 shell because it has no sunroof, but it’s actually a genuine Cosworth-ID car. It’s a super-rare, low-spec model that left the factory without rear headrests, splitters, hockey sticks, or rear pop-out windows. Since then, Andrew has sourced and fitted all of those factory parts, enhancing what was already a very special car. Importantly, he has retained all of the original components, so it can be returned to its original specification if desired.
The car has recently undergone a full restoration and is now in concours condition. No matter where you look—inside, outside, underneath, or even upside down—the attention to detail is outstanding.
The lack of a sunroof isn’t the result of anything being removed; that’s exactly how the car left the factory.
Take a look at this stunning example. Andrew bought the car around 20 years ago—I remember when he purchased it. Looking back now, what an incredible investment that turned out to be.

Okay, today’s feature is Bozzy’s bozs Escort RS2000.

This is a Mk6 variant, so it comes with the later-style front and rear end. The owner first got in touch with me last year about a low-boost turbo conversion. We talked through everything that was needed, supplied the relevant parts numbers and information, and have stayed in touch throughout the build.

Now, after a year of hard work, the car is finally finished, back on the road, and professionally mapped and tuned by Quest Motorsport. Massive shout-out to the team at Quest for their work on this one.

The result? A very healthy 215 brake horsepower.

What’s even more impressive is that the owner has just got this car MOT’d and back on the road after 15 years off it, having carried out all the work himself. He’s also painted the car at home and later repainted it while fitting an Escort Cosworth-style body kit.

There are still a few plans for the future, including fitting the correct period front and rear lights, boot, and other finishing touches. But as anyone who’s built a project car knows, these things take time.

Right now, it’s all about smiles per mile, and the important thing is that the car is back where it belongs—on the road.

Just look at that glowing turbo and downpipe. In a lightweight Escort like this, 215 horsepower is more than enough to put a smile on your face. It delivers strong torque, quick response, and virtually no noticeable lag.

So, what do you think of this one?

We’re seeing more and more Cosworth-inspired replicas being rescued, rebuilt, and returned to the road, and it’s fantastic to see.

Thanks, as always, for the support. Keep watching the channel, and remember, if you’d like your car featured, send me a message via email or Instagram. We’ll get some photos and content together and showcase your build.

We’re also still looking for vehicles for full road tests, reviews, and driver interviews. If that sounds like you, get in touch.

Until next time, keep it boosted!

Next up is Logan’s ST3 Focus diesel Mk3 Focus RS replica.

What’s really special about this car isn’t just the fact that it looks like a Focus RS — it’s that Logan only turned 17 two weeks ago. What an absolutely epic first car!

As I said, this started life as a diesel Focus ST3 before receiving an RS front bumper and modified front vents. Logan then sourced a genuine RS rear bumper and rear spoiler, along with genuine RS Brembo front brakes. RS rear brakes are also planned for a later date.

To complete the look, Logan had a custom exhaust setup made. It’s a dummy-style system, but features fully functional RS-style slashed 5-inch tailpipes.

Being an ST3, the car already comes with plenty of desirable features, but Logan has taken it even further. It now has an RS heated steering wheel and a full RS interior. Honestly, if this car drove past you or you walked past it at a show, you’d never know it wasn’t a genuine RS.

Well done, Logan. Hurry up and get on the road! I look forward to seeing the car out and about, and thanks as always for the support.

If anyone else wants to see their car featured on Subscribers’ Rides, send me a picture and some details via Instagram or email.

Up next for viewers and subscribers is Mark’s incredible Fiesta ST3.

This is far from a standard ST3. It’s been extensively modified inside, outside, and under the bonnet, and it’s now running a Stage 3 setup that produces some seriously impressive power. I’ll let Mark reveal the exact horsepower figures in the comments!

Mark has been a loyal subscriber and supporter of the channel since day one, and his dedication to the Ford scene really shows. This Fiesta is his pride and joy, but it’s not the only gem in his collection—he also owns a flawless Focus ST225 finished in the same stunning colour.

I’m sure many of you will be seeing Mark and his cars on display at shows in the near future. Until then, sit back, enjoy the photos, and take a moment to appreciate the time, effort, and passion that have gone into building this fantastic Fiesta ST3.

A huge shout-out and thank you to Mark for his continued support of the channel! 👏🚗💙

Next up is Blake Moyles’ Series 2 Escort RS Turbo.

This isn’t just any RS Turbo—it’s a fully ZVH-powered build running some serious power, and it’s an absolute eye-stopper.

The car has been off the road for the last few years undergoing a full nut-and-bolt restoration from the ground up, complete with a fully forged engine.

Blake is also a massive supporter of the channel. He’s always got kind words to say and constantly motivates me to keep pushing that little bit further. I can’t wait to meet him and finally see this car in the flesh.

The car will be on display with Welsh Fords stand @ Rs Combe and Fords @ the castle , so be sure to pop over and say hello.

What’s everyone’s thoughts on this one? I’m really enjoying all the positivity around these viewers’ rides. I keep calling them readers’ rides, but they’re viewers’ rides these days!

I’ll keep doing these daily for the foreseeable future—or at least until I run out of cars. So keep them coming, keep supporting each other, and keep moving forward

Okay, so something a little different from the usual. I haven’t done a proper post in a while, but I’m going to start featuring Readers’ Rides!
If you’re a subscriber or supporter of the channel and want your car featured on my stories, drop me a message on Instagram @DeathboxDan with some photos and a few details.
First up is Chad’s Fiesta. Chad has been supporting and following the channel since day one, and around 18 months ago he picked up this red Mk3 Fiesta.
Since then, he’s put a lot of work into it, including a fresh set of wheels, lowering it, RS Turbo pop-out windows, and an RS Turbo bonnet. The plan doesn’t stop there either, as the car is due to receive a full Zetec turbo conversion in the near future.
Chad and I are hoping to meet up soon and get the car featured properly on the channel, which should be a great one.
So, what do you all think of Chad’s Fiesta? Let me know in the comments below. For me, it’s a solid 10/10 Top work, mate!
And remember, if you’d like to see your car featured on the channel, get in touch.
