Ong Seongwu joins the cast of tvN’s fantasy horror rom-com drama 'Chilling Romance' starring Park Eunbin and Yang Sejong.
The drama is a remake of the 2011 film Spellbound, which starred Son Yejin and Lee Minki. Filming will begin next month and wrap up in early June. Scheduled premiere in the 2nd half of 2026.

Veteran K-Drama Actor Kim Joo Young Passes Away From Pneumonia 😢
He was known for his villainous roles.
On October 1, KST, the actor’s family confirmed to Yonhap News that he passed away on September 30. The 73-year-old had suffered from pulmonary tuberculosis in his youth, which left his lungs weak. He later developed pneumonia, ultimately leading to his demise.
Kim graduated from Chungang University with a degree in Theater and Film. He started his acting career in 1973 after being selected by MBC during its 6th open recruitment of actors. He also joined the Tongyang Broadcasting Company through its 15th talent recruitment.
Kim Joo Young gained prominence with his villainous supporting role in the 1980s K-Drama Chief Inspector and was active in major historical dramas on KBS throughout the 1990s. His final television appearance was in 2014, when he portrayed Jo Min Soo in the KBS epic drama Jeong Do Jeon. He reportedly lived as a shaman afterwards.
Kim Joo Young’s funeral will be held on October 2, at 7:30 KST at the funeral hall of Chungang University, following which he will be buried at Incheon Family Park.
