Alexander the Great, drawn in graphite.
History remembers him as a conqueror,
but I wanted to draw the weight behind the crown.
A man who marched further than anyone thought possible.
Who ruled before he truly rested.
Who carried ambition like a burden and a weapon.
This portrait isn’t just about power - it’s about vision, discipline, and the cost of greatness.
I was inspired by Alexander’s relentless drive, the way he kept moving forward even when the world resisted him.
That mindset mirrors art itself.
Every blank page is a battlefield.
Every finished piece is a quiet victory.
Tools used:
• Graphite pencils
• Eraser (for highlights and corrections)
• Cotton bud for soft blending
• Patience and intention
No shortcuts. Just process.
If you see strength here, you’re right.
If you see exhaustion, you’re also right.
