Hi, my name is Nicholas. I usually railfan in the San Fernando Valley area. Sometimes, I'll railfan in Fullerton, or up North like San Fransisco and San Mateo area. I am a huge fan of Nirvana, and because of that, I have 5 Nirvana CDs; Bleach, Nevermind, Incesticide, In Utero, and Nirvana.

Absolutely phenomenal day today! I went to San Jose to do Christmas in the Park, and to do that, I rode Caltrains 514 and 163! While on 514, I saw my first Capital Corridor train, number 542, with 8301 and 2102 on it! Then, when I got on the platform of San Jose Diridon, I saw some old familiar "faces"; Caltrain MP36PH-3Cs and Bombardier cabcars! I also saw an ACE train with charger 3111 (I couldn't tell what the cabcar was since another Caltrain was blocking it) and another Amtrak California train (no pics of that) with cabcar 8314! When I was getting out of the station, I saw another Caltrain with an F40PH-2C coming into the station, but I didn't record it since there were things blocking it. Whilst going to the park, I also saw some VTA light rail trains! When I got back to the station, I saw Caltrain 156 (I said 166 in the video that I took) pulling into the station, and a few minutes later, Amtrak 14 pulled in with a surprise! Yes, I didn't know that 301, the Day One Heritage Unit was leading it!

With November already closed, here are my top catches of this month.
1. Starting off on the 1st, I arrive a few minutes before a 30 minute late Amtrak Coast Starlight 14 whizzes through Burbank Downtown!
2. Same day, Metrolink 1163 trails around 5 minutes behind Amtrak 14 with MP36 892 leading!
3. Still the same day, SCAX 861, Metrolink's only operating F59PHR at the time (correct me if I'm wrong) leads Metrolink train 1267!
4. Around 15 minutes later, the UP ZLCLT rolls through Burbank Downtown with UP 5714 in the lead!
5. On the 15th, we pace the UP ZLCLT through Pacoima, with thundercab SD70ACe 8552 leading, a wave from the conductor, and 2 blasts of the horn from them!
6. On the 21st, I railfanned Burbank Downtown Station in hopes of catching UP 6379 leading the UP MGMGM, but was met with something else... A tier-4 ACe leading with an original ES44AC trailing. Kinda disappointing...
7. Finally, to end things off, on the last day of November, the 30th, I finally catch a freight train at Palmdale Station! The UP ZLCLT rolls through the station with old thundercab SD70ACe 8312 leading, and a 2 tap from the crew!
