For decades it has been falsely alleged that JOAN CRAWFORD and MARILYN MONROE had a sexual relationship; or that Crawford made an unwanted "sexual pass" towards Monroe.

This photo was taken upon Joan's arrival at Los Angeles International airport. Christina and Freeman were at the airport to greet Joan. (February 3rd, 1971)


This may well be one of the very last photos of Joan with Christina. Christina had moved from New York to Los Angeles in 1970, and had initially taken up residence at Joan's West Hollywood apartment.
After this visit by Joan to Los Angeles, they never saw one another again.

JOAN CRAWFORD in a publicity portrait for "Berserk."
"Berserk" completed principal photography on November 28th, 1966. The final scene filmed was to be the final scene shown in the film, with the surviving characters outside the circus' big top tent.
In describing the filming of the final scene, Joan said in a letter "...on the coldest night of the year - with frost, six fire hoses on us and in mud and rain."

It was during this week in July 1972 that JOAN CRAWFORD completed her work on what was to be her final acting performance - an episode of the television show "The Sixth Sense."


NEWLY UPLOADED to the website is the episode's entire shooting script, which includes some scenes with alternate dialogue.


Also included in this week's update are letters to Joan from members of the episode's cast and crew describing their experience of working with Joan on this project. This content is all-new to the internet, never having been shared publicly before - - - and, as with much content, exclusive to "The Concluding Chapter of Crawford."
