Well....

Got a couple of recordings done and set down to edit them. Just to see that a setting was off in OBS, which means I will have to completely redo the recordings ......

Sorry nothing this week, but there will be a video next week for sure. Things look like they are going to work out so I can record more and have nearly a full day to edit things!!!

Hey everyone. I was aiming to get a video put out today and start working on others. However, my nvme drive decided Sunday night that it wanted to become read only.....
So I spent Monday manually backing up things, reinstalling, and restoring. I have pretty much the bulk of things back up. Big thanks to the backup tool timeshift!!!
My editing has been put off not only from that but my wife got a bit sick. Nothing big, but I am making sure she is taken care of.
New video will be out next week and hopefully starting back on an every week rotation.

Hey everyone. Hope you are doing well. Had a power outage here at the house and it caused aome issues with my server. Had to rebuild my raid array and rebuild my wazuh server. I really need to get a ups for the server....

Anyways, no video this week due to all of this. Will be posting a blog about how I configured this new raid array to stay persistant with proxmox after a reboot. If you haben't checked out my blog page, well it is still a work in progress. But here is the link to it. Se you all next week.

I hope everyone is doing well this holiday season. I have gone back and forth about doing videos this week and next. I think I will take a little break. I have family in for only the one week and I want to spend as much time as I can with them.

I want to say a big thank you to all of you. This channel has grown more in one year then I thought it would in 5 years. I have really enjoyed making content for you all. Really looking forward to makeing more in the new year.

Also, just a little update. I have started the HTB Acamdemy path for there Bug Bounty cert. There is a lot of really good content in the program. I am thinking about sharing my notes after I get done, if that might be something you would be interested in.

So, had to take down the video I posted today for a HTB walkthrough. It was aginst TOS as the box is expired not retired. Although there are several walkthroughs for the box out there that cover from start to finish.

Since HTB picks and chooses how they enforce there rules, I will not be making any more content going forward related to HTB.

I wanted to let you all know that I may not get a video out this week, but for a good reason.
A few good things have happened at work this week.

1. I got accepted into a pre-mentoring group for potential pentesters. Basically, it is a class where we get to see what it is like and really see if it is something we might be cut out for.

2. We got our first homework assignment. Try and find potential areas for vulns in our company website. So the time I would normally spend editing, I will be pentesting.

3. I was able to join a group at work that focuses on Hack The Box challenges. Did my first box on HTB this weekend that just dropped for the sesonal challenge. It was a blast. Walkthrough in the progress.
