I stared in Audio over 20 years ago but quickly got into video shooting and editing. in Audio I started with Cool Edit Pro (now Audition) and Pro Tools. Nowadays i'm using LogicPro X for most of my audio work, sometimes Adobe Audition. in Video I started with AVID Media Composer and Premiere but started to use Final Cut Pro with Version 6... used Premiere Pro with version CS6 ... but now I'm 99,9% FCP. In Terms Video Camera equipment Sony VX1000 / PD150 and the legendary Panasonic AG-DVX100. and several other Cameras shooting HD on tape or card. My 1st Video-DSLR was the Canon 550D / Rebel T2i ... after that 60D and 70D, but after that I switched to Sony and was one of the 1st Sony a7s owners in Germany. Nowadays I regularly use Sony A7sIII, Sony a6700, Sony a7rIII, Sony FS7 and others. Mostly shoot Video and Photo for Lifestyle, Automotive, Urban Art/Graffiti, Corporate and so on. My "day-job" is basically working for / with Red Tower Films #TeamRedTower

Studio Update 2025… so this is now finally done, the „temporary“ setup is upgraded now and ready for the 1st official workday of 2025. The essential apps I use are Final Cut Pro for most stuff, @Adobe Premiere Pro for more complex corporate and documentary projects and @presonus StudioOne 7 for all Sound/Audio work. Also essential for my work @kaliaudio LP-UNF studio speakers, @beyerdynamic DT 900 ProX headphones, @YouleanSoftware Loudness Meter, @Loupedeck @BenQGlobal monitor, @ikmultimedia ARC Studio, @ColorFinaleChannel, @FilmConvert contourdesign controller Pro v2 and the newest addition Logickeyboad
for StudioOne keyboard.

Dear @PeterMcKinnon,
I've noticed that you apparently don't prefer stereo sound and music in your videos. Even your friends and fellow YouTubers (@mattih) have started publishing videos with mono audio, which makes me sad. I think the issue might stem from your NLE (non-linear editor) of choice. Let's check it out and help you create better-sounding videos.

new studio / new DAW … switched from LogicPro to @presonus StudioOne … such a great app to edit and mix podcast (and audio for video) really solid/smooth/easy to use and quite powerful and well thought out tools and UI … really like it ✌🏻😎
