Year of the Cat is screening this Saturday in Santa Ana!! I'll see you guys there! Link below for Tickets! The story is about a filmmaker named Tony Nguyen's journey searching for his long lost father of 48 years! If you enjoy my documentaries, you definitely don't want to miss this. I appear in this film and I worked as a producer!
It’s been a long dream of mine to work on an indie documentary and I finally got that chance and on such a fitting subject matter as well…The Vietnamese American diaspora, long lost family reunions, traveling Vietnam… all topics very dear to me are in this film. I am associate producer, camera, and I appear in this film called Year of the Cat. It will premiere in Los Angeles May 3rd and in San Francisco May 9th. It will also be shown in Chicago on May 18th. I will be in attendance for both California screenings and if you’re local and free on those days, you are invited to join me. This is the first time I get to experience something like this. Please reserve tickets as seating is limited and this film will not be on YouTube. (If it was up to me it would be but it isn’t up to me.) If you liked my other documentaries on YouTube, then I think you will like this one because it’s at a different level. This is truly an amazing story with so many twists and turns about a man from Indiana looking for a father he never knew after 48 years and I am so proud to have been a part of this journey that filmed in over 10 cities in America and 3 in Vietnam. Really hope to see you there and if you can’t make it , it’s okay too. Hopefully you will get to see it one day. Hi everyone! I'm sorry about the lack of new videos. I am very busy working on some videos off YouTube, which have enabled me to upgrade my camera to a full frame setup with the new S5ii and the S5! It's a lot more gear to travel with but I hope you will appreciate the better quality moving forward. Micro 4/3 cameras have worked well for me for many years and it's time to level up! I hope to create some awesome content during the summer, so please stay tuned and thank you for your patience.
have you guys seen my latest video yet? Its been a long dream of mine to stay under one roof for my cousins and it finally happened after years and years. Check it out now: https://youtu.be/kVfXqagKMFo and stay tuned for a new video later today!
