June's events were a huge success! The shoppers came out and supported my business and "Big Bern" was well received by all. The ladies were able to use the dressing room on the truck to make sure their items fit before buying. So thankful for all of the love and support!

This is the first Spring/Summer that I have no new outdoor home decor goodies to share. I have not shopped for anything for outdoors because I'm rarely home to enjoy any of it. Besides, I have not fully used a lot of the items I bought last year and the year before. I do, however have tons of beautiful flowers in the yard that I enjoy looking at when I am at home. Flowers help to keep me smiling....and they attract butterflies and bees to pollinate my vegetable and herb gardens!

Me? Oh, besides working all of my jobs and businesses and being a health advocate for my mom, I have been hella busy fixing things at my mom's house in Georgia since Hurricane Helene. Here are BEFORE and AFTER pictures of some of the upgrades I've made, thus far. It's a work in progress and I am really liking how things are shaping up. The roof has been replaced, the HVAC replaced, the water heater replaced, ceiling damage fixed, vanities and faucets replaced, fallen trees removed, doors and shutters painted, kitchen appliances replaced, ceiling fans replaced, popcorn ceilings smoothed, and interior painting underway. The last replacements will be window blinds, screens, and flooring. The last repairs will be broken windows, back porch steps, and the backyard fencing.

I've finally got my new mini fridge for "Big Bern" - Yayyyy!!!! It works great and I bought it brand new (scratch and dent = $$$savings) from the Salvation Army. I am ready for the road now!

I'm cooking up a couple of tropical/boho decor refreshes in my home here lately... next up is my loft area. It's going ok, but I must admit that I am struggling a little to pull it all together. It's a work in progress as I am trying to shop my old items from previous hauls. I bought a few furniture pieces that better suit my style aesthetic these days. I'm still in the market for a new L-shaped couch. Wish me well!

I have a million and one things to do, but I took a lil minute to refresh a small portion of my home office space. I've added tropical leaf wallpaper to an accent wall. Instead of repainting my old desk, I covered it in a faux bamboo contact paper to give it a better look. Instead of replacing my comfy white desk chairs I bought a tropical leaf chair cover from ‪@amazon‬ . I'm thinking about taking a trip to ‪@IKEAUSA‬ later after work to get a little more inspo. I'm waiting on a new desk lamp and will replace my ceiling fan blades later. What do you all think so far?

I'm crushing on this chair I bought for the dressing room area in "Big Bern" (my mobile boutique). I scored it on FaceBook Marketplace for ONLY $20!!!!. It's in great condition. I will be showcasing it in an upcoming video along with the peel-n-stick tropical leaves contact paper from Amazon that I've added to the ceiling . Stay tuned.....Happy New Year!
