Chapter 1: Understanding God's True Nature
Welcome to Day 1 of our 30 Days of Receiving Healing journey!
Everything begins with knowing who God is. In today's chapter, Pastor Lawson teaches that God is good and He never changes. Healing isn't something God occasionally chooses to do, it is part of His very nature. Throughout Scripture, God reveals Himself as Jehovah Rapha—"The LORD who heals you." Because God never changes, His desire to heal never changes. As you read today's chapter, ask the Holy Spirit to help you see God's heart more clearly and build your faith in His unchanging character.

PRAYER:
Father, thank You for revealing Yourself as my Healer. Your Word declares that You never change, and I choose to believe Your Word above every circumstance. Help me know You more deeply and trust Your heart more completely. As I begin this journey, strengthen my faith and renew my mind with the truth that You are the LORD who heals me. In Jesus' name, amen.

Faith and fear are polar opposites. - Lawson Perdue
Fear focuses on what could go wrong. Faith focuses on what God has promised.
Every day we have a choice: Will we let fear define our outlook, or will we trust the One who is faithful? God's Word is greater than any circumstance, diagnosis, setback, or uncertainty we face.
When fear tries to speak louder than God's promises, choose to believe His Word. Keep praying. Keep trusting. Keep walking by faith.
"For God has not given us a spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." — 2 Timothy 1:7
Today, choose faith over fear.

Problems have a way of demanding your attention. They can feel loud and seem overwhelming.
But faith reminds us that God's promises are greater than our problems.
Every day we make a choice: Will we focus on what we see, or will we trust what God has said? Faith doesn't deny that challenges exist. It looks beyond them to the One who is faithful and what He has already done.
No matter what you're facing today, keep walking in faith. Keep believing God's Word. As you fix your eyes on His promises instead of your circumstances, He will strengthen you to rise above every obstacle.
"For we walk by faith, not by sight." — 2 Corinthians 5:7

It doesn't wonder if God's promises are true. It knows they are.
Hope expects someday. Wishing says maybe. Faith is now.
If what you believe changes the way you speak and live, you'll begin to see God's promises at work in your life.

YOUR words are powerful.
Proverbs 18:21 reminds us that life and death are in the power of the tongue. What you're consistently speaking matters.
Don't keep speaking fear, defeat, or your past over your future. If you've been sowing negative words, ask God for a crop failure on those seeds. Instead, begin speaking God's Word over your life.
As Pastor Lawson shared, "You can change the course of your life with your words."
Speak God's promises. Talk to your mountain about God instead of talking to God about your mountain. As you fill your heart with God's Word, your words will begin to align with His truth and your faith will grow.

At the end of the day, faith is a decision.
Every day we have a choice: Will we focus on the problem, or will we stand on the promises of God's Word? Circumstances may be loud, but God's truth is louder.
When you know who you are in Christ and what He has already given you, you can walk in confidence instead of fear. Keep choosing faith. Stay consistent in prayer. Stay rooted in the Word. Don't quit. Faith in God will lift you above every challenge.
