Back from L.A! I had so much fun with Mom and Dad! Poor Mom caught COVID while I was there and was out of commission for a bit, but she's feeling better now! I’m powerless against these cookies! A jammy Fig and Walnut center, sandwiched between 2 buttery cookies. I fell in love with something similar while in Florence this summer and couldn’t get them out of my mind! I’ve been spending the last 3 weeks developing a recipe that felt a bit like chasing a ghost!
