Imagine you were given the opportunity to build YOUR dream VR headset, what would that perfect headset look like to you?
What would be your top non-negotiable feature or specification that HAS to be included.
Cost aside.

Sorry I’m taking so long, but I am really taking my time to make sure I really get all my takes down accurately. This is by far the most nuanced VR device I have ever sat down to review. I wanna give it the most nuanced take I possibly can. There’s a lot more going on under the hood that makes the device make a little more sense.
I did get it to work with SteamVR btw.

Quest 3 impressions tomorrow.
There’s a lot of good, some really great- but a few things I find utterly baffling.
Taking an extra day to get my thoughts clear.

Taking the rest of the week to touch some much needed grass.
Videos have been a little slower lately but I’ve been really working to make every one deliberate. Got some sick stuff in the pipeline. Index controller alternatives, mutalk, weird headsets.
I also know this next 6 months are about to be absolutely insane for our space, so I’m taking the rest while I can get it. Will be back next week! Have a great weekend everyone. Enjoy the calm before the storm!
(Also I didn’t want to make another redundant Tuesday Newsday this week as it’s mostly the same as last week! If you haven’t watched it yet, everything relevant last video is still the top news this week! See y’all with another Virtually Odd and Tuesday Newsday later!!! :D )

Wow.
This week marks the 4 year anniversary of this channel. This has been the wildest journey I could have ever imagined. We've been through a lot of ups and downs, both between the channel and VR as a whole. We've seen VR evolve from an expensive dream into the reality that it is currently, and it just keeps getting better (even though we will certainly witness MANY more ups and downs)
I figured for a 4 year anniversary post I would just talk openly about where I'm at right now and how I feel about content creation. Sometimes its an absolute dream and videos flow like warm butter from concept to posting them, other times every step of the process is more complicated than it needs to be. I am always obsessed with improving the channel whether that's in editing, or writing, videography, or topics but I have hit a wall recently. In the pursuit of trying to make every video perfect, I end up just making.. less videos, and I actually end up less happy with how they turned out. And I think, looking back at 4 years of VR content creation and all of the things I've learned.. it's time to just have more fun. You may have noticed no videos this week, and that's because I took this time to really sit down and think about how I want to approach making videos- and my conclusion:
Lets just have fun with it. More experiments, more *virtually odd* hardware, and less pressure.
Thrillseekers, I just want to say thank you for 4 years of amazing support and love. This has been a crazy wild journey and every day there's something new to experience and learn. It's time to repay the support you've given me with the videos you've been asking for.
Again, thank you for 4 years (i'll probably mention this is TN as well), we have a bright future ahead of us.
Much Love and remember, We Are VR,
Thrill

Hey everyone!
I’ve been working on a PSVR2 review.. and I’ve honestly been pretty shocked. I feel like the entire system of “VR Hardware reviews” just completely misses the mark regarding this entry of VR hardware and software. So, I’m taking a little more time to get it right. ALSO! I’m making an additional video building a “PCVR STATION” comparing it to a “PlayStation VR2” because honestly.. you could build an entire PC.. and potentially do it for cheaper and have better performance… PLEASE STAY TUNED! I’m trying to focus on bigger projects that push the status quo.. but it does take a little more time.

Looks like HTC’s new headset was visually unveiled with a full reveal happening at CES this year! Mainstream press marks it as a “Quest competitor” but I have a feeling the price will be a bit out of that range. I should be attending to cover CES like I did last year, super excited!
Also sorry for no videos this week! I have 2 in the works that I’m really excited about but I ended up having to delay them until next week to make sure they’re perfect. Keep on the lookout ! These are gonna be good ones!!!
Have an amazing weekend,
Much love- Thrill
