Hi there! My name is Pyra and I'm a cartoon-aholic. And a rock-aholic. I grew up on all the cheesy sleazy 80s hair metal bands then later got turned onto 70s punk in junior high. These come together in my art in my comics, sketchbooks, and paintings which I work on and show off here.
My life is infested with cartoon rats (one of my main projects is Ricky B. the Rock N Roll Rat, featuring a punk rock rat-man slogging it out in the low-levels of the recording studio biz) and cartoon brats (my other project, Noah's Archipelago, features stay-at-home-dude Noah Thorsen, who sings in cover bands when not shirking housework or butting heads with his snotty 8 year old daughter Ursula or his mother-in-law Agnes).

“Anyway, yesterday I decided to fight dirty and I dragged Ursula to the fabric store with me after I picked her up from school. She hates shopping at the best of times and particularly hates the fabric store, but I promised her I’d make pizza for dinner tonight if she helped me pick out some fabric for a tablecloth.
“Sure enough, 2 minutes later she came up to me with this wild and crazy fabric that had octopusses on it. So, I bought a few yards of it, which pissed Ruth off, but fortunately Ursula was all excited about the octupusses so Ruth couldn’t complain too much…”
