Typically at the end of every year I post a rewind of all the best explored throughout the year. This year I simply don't have the energy for that. Instead I want to dedicate this year to Waddles, my little corgi who left the world too soon. Earlier this month one day before her gotcha day, she tragically had a medical emergency that could not be fixed. After every explore she would be waiting at home happy to see me. She would sit with me while I edited, and loved to make silly faces. I miss her greatly

Remember the 2003 Tim Burton film big fish? Did you know the town of spectre was actually built for the movie and the remains of this old movie set can be found in Alabama today? Many buildings of the original town still exist including the church and the island is home to numerous friendly goats. The set is on a small island that can be visited and even camped at!
