⚒️ *THE FORGE OF THE ANCESTORS* ⚒️
To survive in the Zagros, one had to master the earth itself. Our ancestors were not just mountain dwellers; they were master metallurgists and heavy cavalry who forged a language as unbreakable as their weapons. 🛡️
Here is the ancient architecture of our warfare:
⛓️ *The Iron (Hesin / Asin):* This word carries a secret. It descends from the ancient Proto-Indo-Iranian root "as-an", which originally meant "stone." 🪨 Before the Iron Age, the hardest tools were made of stone. When our ancestors discovered metallurgy, they named the new metal "The Hardest Stone." Every time we say *Hesin*, we are echoing a transition that happened at the very dawn of human civilization.
🗡️ *The Blade (Şûr / Şimşêr):* A culture defined by warfare does not have just one word for a sword. We have an entire arsenal. *Şûr* is the sharp, ancient root for cutting. *Şimşêr* carries the weight of the Middle Persian heavy cavalry—the legendary curved blade of the Iranian plateau. We also hold ancient mountain words like *kalme* and *gord*. The sword was not just a tool; it was an extension of the arm, forged light enough for the high passes but heavy enough to shatter the shields of the plains. 🦅
🔱 *The Lance (Rim):* Before the empires of the lowlands built their walls, the ancestors of the Kurds were the undisputed masters of the cavalry charge. The *Rim* (lance or spear) was their primary weapon. The word itself is short, heavy, and abrupt—designed to mimic the sudden, piercing physical force of a heavy weapon striking its target.
🛡️ *The Armor (Zirx):* *Zirx* comes from the 3,000-year-old Avestan root "zrāda-", referring specifically to chainmail—interlocking iron rings. While lowland empires relied on heavy, rigid plates, the mountain warriors perfected the *Zirx*—flexible iron protection that allowed for lethal mobility in jagged terrain.
The iron didn't just stay in our hands; it entered our tongues. We describe a strong person as being "made of iron" (*hesinî*). We describe a definitive law as being "cut by the sword." ⚔️
Our language is our primary fortress. It is built of iron roots and sharpened by thousands of years of survival. 🔥

🦅 *THE POISON OF THE THRONE* 🦅
Selahedînê Eyûbî (Saladin) forged the most formidable empire in the Middle East. He united the fragmented Muslim world, recaptured Jerusalem, and brought the massive armies of Europe to a standstill. He did this using the unbreakable tribal cohesion and fierce discipline of his Zagros roots.
But within just a few decades of his death, the Ayyubid Empire was completely erased from the map.
Many people ask: *How did such a massive Kurdish dynasty collapse so quickly?*
The answer is not a lack of courage. It is the poison of the throne. When our ancestors left the mountains and tasted the absolute power of the lowland empires, they forgot the laws of survival.
The fall of the Ayyubids was driven by two massive, fatal mistakes:
🩸 *The Divided House (Birakujî):* When Saladin died in 1193, his sons and brother did not honor his legacy. They viewed the empire as personal property. They immediately carved the Middle East into rival factions and spent the next fifty years fighting brutal civil wars against one another. They were so blinded by greed that some Ayyubid princes even allied with the European Crusaders to kill their own brothers.
⛓️ *The Mercenary Sword (The Mamluks):* Because the Ayyubid princes were too busy fighting each other, they lost the loyalty of their own people. To fight their civil wars, they began mass-purchasing foreign slave-soldiers from the steppes, known as *Mamluks*.
This was the fatal strike. The Ayyubid princes grew soft, undisciplined, and obsessed with palace politics, while their Mamluk slaves grew into a hardened, lethal military machine.
In 1250, the inevitable happened. The Mamluks looked at their Ayyubid masters, saw nothing but weak, divided men, and simply took the empire for themselves.
The Ayyubids were not destroyed by the Crusaders or the Mongols. They were destroyed by *Birakujî*. They traded the unyielding discipline of the mountains for the treacherous comfort of the lowlands, and it cost them everything. ⚖️

When words fail, the earth remembers. 🕊️🔥
"VAZE" is not just a song; it is a sacred elegy woven from the roots of the Rêya Rastîye tradition. A cry to the willow, the Pepûk bird, and the ancient fire to bear witness to the unbroken spirit of the Kurdish woman.

📏 *Rast* (Kirmanckî / Kurmanckî /Sorankî)
📏 *Right* (English) / *Recht* (Deutsch) / *Rectus* (Latin)
///
🦅 *THE UNBENDING LINE* 🦅
Before "truth" was an abstract philosophical concept, it was a physical measurement. To survive in the harsh terrain of the Zagros and Dersim, things had to be built straight, and weapons had to be forged true. ⚒️
In our language, the word for truth is *Rastîye*. The root is *Rast* (Kirmancki/Kurmanji/Sorani), which physically translates to "straight," "unbending," or "correct."
But this word does not just belong to the mountains; it is a ghost from the very dawn of human migration.
Many of our youth living in the diaspora ask: Is there a connection between the Kurdish *Rast*, the English *Right*, and the German *Recht*?
The answer is an absolute yes. 🌳
They all descend directly from the 5,000-year-old Proto-Indo-European root "*reg-", meaning "to move in a straight line."
When the ancient tribes migrated, they carried this word with them. The tribes that went West into Europe forged it into the Germanic *Right* and *Recht*, and the Latin *Rectus* (which gave us words like "correct" and "direct").
The tribes that went South into the mountains of the Middle East forged it into the ancient Iranian "*rašta-", which survived untouched in our deep valleys as *Rast*. ⛰️
Our language is not an isolated, broken dialect. It is a massive, living fossil. When we speak, we are breathing life into the original, unbending baseline of human history. ⚖️

🐍 *The Deceiver / The Lie:* Zûr / Xap (Kirmancki / Kurmanji) ➡️ From Avestan: Druj
///
🦅 *THE LAW OF THE PEYMAN* 🦅
Many of our youth are frustrated. They watch the empires of the plains announce "peace talks," only to see them drag on for years in total secrecy, producing nothing but broken promises. They ask: *Why do these talks always fail?*
The answer is not in modern politics. The answer is in our ancient language.
When the lowlands negotiate, they use words as temporary tools to buy time. But in the Zagros, a treaty is called a **Peyman**.
To our ancestors, a *Peyman* was not a political handshake. It was a terrifying, unbreakable cosmic law.
Thousands of years ago, the ancient Indo-Iranians worshipped a deity named **Mithra** (Mihr). Today, people think of Mithra simply as the god of the sun, but this is a mistranslation. In the Avesta, the word *Mithra* literally translates to **"The Contract"** or **"The Treaty."** ☀️
Because Mithra was the sun, a true *Peyman* could never be negotiated in the dark. It had to be spoken in the daylight, verified by the people, and sworn upon the sacred fire.
If a lowland king came to the mountains offering peace, but held deceit in his heart, he was classified as a **Mithra-druj** (The Contract-Breaker). In our ancient philosophy, breaking a treaty was not just a political crime; it was an act of cosmic violence against the universe itself. The Avesta explicitly states that a peace built on lies (*Druj*) will inevitably bring drought, starvation, and destruction.
This is why modern "processes" fail. They are negotiated in shadows, hidden from the people, and built without **Raştîye** (Absolute Truth / Asha).
Our ancestors did not wait in the dark for an empire to grant them peace. They knew that a true *Peyman* is only offered to those whose swords are sharp, whose voices are united, and who stand unapologetically in the light. 🔥

///
🦅 *THE AVESTAN ECHOES* 🦅
If you want to hear the sound of the ancient world, do not look in the ruins of the plains; listen to the vocabulary of the mountains. ⛰️
Thousands of years ago, the priests of the Zagros chanted their sacred texts in Avestan, a language of fire, earth, and cosmic order. While empires rose and fell, and the lowlands changed their gods and their alphabets, the mountain dialects locked those exact sacred words into their daily breath. 🌬️
Here are the heavy, ancient lines connecting our dialects directly to the 3,000-year-old Avesta:
⚖️ *The Divine (God):* When speaking to the divine, our ancestors preserved ancient, self-contained mechanics. In Sorani, the word is *Xwa* (Kurmanji: *Xwedê*). This descends directly from the Avestan "Xvadata", meaning "The Self-Created." Look at the mechanics of our own language to prove it: the word for "Self" is *Xwe* (Kurmanji) or *Xo / Ho* (Kirmancki). God is simply that which creates itself.
But look at Kirmancki. The word for God is *Homa*. This is not from Xvadata; it is the direct phonetic descendant of "Ahura Mazda", the supreme creator of the Zoroastrian universe. (Ahura Mazda ➡️ Ohrmazd ➡️ Hormizd ➡️ Homa)
☀️ *The Sun:* Sorani calls the sun *Xor*, an unbroken echo of the Avestan "Hvar". Kurmanji and Kirmancki use *Roj* and *Roc*.
But Kirmancki holds a second, equally heavy word for the sun: *Tîjê*. This word comes directly from the ancient Proto-Iranian root "tigra-", meaning "sharp" or "piercing" (the exact same root the ancient Medes used for a physical arrow 🏹). Our ancestors did not just see the sun as light; they saw it as a physical, piercing force striking the dark mountains.
🌍 *The Earth:* The dirt beneath our feet is a layered history. For the physical ground, Kirmancki uses *Hard* or *Erd* and Kurmanji uses *Erd*. But the deeper, animistic reverence for the earth as a living entity survives in Sorani and Kurmanji as *Zewî* or *Zemîn*. This carries the ancient root of "Zam" (the ancient earth deity Zamyad), tying us back to a time when the stone itself was worshipped.
🌟 *The Star:* Kirmancki uses *Estare* (Kurmanji: Stêrk / Sorani: Estêre). This is a direct survival of the Avestan "Star"—one of the oldest Proto-Indo-European roots in human history, locked perfectly into our vocabulary without the phonetic drift seen in the languages of the plains.
Our language is not just a tool for survival. It is a living, breathing temple. The fires of the ancient Medes did not burn out; they are simply hiding in the words we speak every day. 🔥

Vengê Ma
🌍 ENGLISH
A Message to Our Listeners: Our Path, Our Time, and Our Principles
Recently, we have received many kind offers for collaborations, alongside questions about why Vengê Ma isn't active on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, or X. We want to answer this openly, as it touches the very heart of why this project exists.
Vengê Ma was never created to chase fame, popularity, or viral success. Our sole mission is to serve our endangered language, bring our forgotten history into the light, and create a cinematic sanctuary for our culture. We do this entirely with an idealistic spirit.
To protect that spirit, we have established a few unshakeable boundaries:
• The Reality of Time: Our team is spread across different countries. We dedicate our nights and weekends to this project, balancing it with our professional jobs and personal lives. Time is our most scarce and valuable resource.
• Our Collaboration Policy: Because our time is so limited, we have made a principled decision to decline all joint project offers. Vengê Ma will remain a dedicated space strictly for our own original compositions and visual storytelling. While we will always try to help and advise our people behind the scenes when our time permits, our public channel must remain fiercely independent.
• The Social Media Question: We believe in slow, organic growth. We want our music to put down deep roots rather than chase fast trends. Managing multiple social media platforms would take away from the hours we need to compose, write, and create.
If we have declined a project with you, please know it is never personal. It is simply the reality of our strict boundaries and our dedication to original creation.
Thank you for understanding, for walking this path with us, and for giving our language the audience it deserves.

Peyamek ji bo Guhdarên Me: Rêya Me, Dema Me û Prensîbên Me
Di van demên dawî de, me ji bo hevkariyê gelek pêşniyarên delal wergirtin, û her weha pirsên ku çima Vengê Ma li ser platformên wekî Instagram, TikTok, an X ne çalak e. Em dixwazin bi eşkereyî bersiva van bidin, ji ber ku ev digihîje bingeha armanca vê projeyê.
Vengê Ma qet bi armanca bidestxistina navdarî, populerbûn, an serkeftina vîral nehatiye damezrandin. Tekane peywira me ew e ku em xizmeta zimanê xwe yê di bin xetereyê de ye bikin, dîroka xwe ya jibîrbûyî derxînin ronahiyê û ji bo çanda xwe perestgeheke sînematîk biafirînin. Em vî karî bi temamî bi ruhekî îdealîst dikin.
Ji bo parastina wî ruhî, me çend prensîbên neguhêrbar destnîşan kirine:
• Rastiya Demê: Tîma me li welatên cuda dijî. Em şev û dawiya hefteyên xwe ji vê projeyê re vediqetînin, û hewl didin ku wê bi karên xwe yên pîşeyî û jiyana xwe ya taybet re hevseng bikin. Dem çavkaniya me ya herî kêm û biqîmet e.
• Siyaseta Me ya Hevkariyê: Ji ber ku dema me pir kêm e, me biryareke prensîbî girtiye ku em hemû pêşniyarên hevkarî û projeyên hevpar red bikin. Vengê Ma dê bi tundî tenê wekî qadeke ji bo berhemên me yên orîjînal û çîroksaziya vîzuelî bimîne. Her çend em ê her gav hewl bidin ku li pişt perdê alîkariya gelê xwe bikin gava ku dema me hebe jî, divê kanala me ya giştî bi xurtî serbixwe bimîne.
• Pirsgirêka Medyaya Civakî: Em bi mezinbûna hêdî û organîk bawer dikin. Em dixwazin ku muzîka me li şûna şopandina trendên bilez, kokên kûr berde. Rêvebirina gelek platformên medyaya civakî dê wan demjimêrên ku em ji bo afirandin, nivîsandin û çêkirinê hewce ne, ji me bistîne.
Heke me projeyek we red kiribe, ji kerema xwe zanibin ku ev qet ne kesane ye. Ev bi tenê rastiya sînorên me yên hişk û dilsoziya me ya ji bo baldariya li ser afirandina orîjînal e.
Ji bo têgihiştina we, ji bo meşa bi me re di vê rêyê de, û ji bo dayîna guhdarên ku zimanê me heq dike, em spasiya we dikin.

🦅 *STONES OF THE SAME FORTRESS* 🦅
For thousands of years, the Zagros and Dersim mountains have acted as a massive, impenetrable wall against the empires of the plains. The people who held this fortress share the same destiny and the same resistance. ⛰️
Look at the mechanics of our breath. Kurmanji held onto the heavy, guttural friction of the ancient warriors—sounds that tear through the throat. Kirmancki (Zazaki) dropped the friction, leaving only the breathy, hollow wind of the high altitudes. 🌬️
🔥 *Ash:* Xwelî (Kurmanji) vs. Wele (Kirmancki)
🗣️ *To Read/Call:* Xwendin (Kurmanji) vs. Wendene (Kirmancki)
🌾 *To Eat:* Xwarin (Kurmanji) vs. Werdene (Kirmancki)
Then, there is the blood that waters these mountains. In Kurmanji, the word is *xwîn*. It carries the phonetic weight of the ancient Median lines, sharing a root with the Persian _xun_. 🩸
But Kirmancki uses *gonî*. This word bypasses the plains entirely. It is a ghost from the ancient Parthian empire, tracing its lineage directly back to _vohuni_, the sacred word for blood in the 3,000-year-old Zoroastrian Avesta. 🏺
Underneath these distinct phonetic paths, however, lies the exact same ancient bedrock. All Kurdish dialects and currents—from the sharpest Kurmanji to the most hollow Kirmancki, from Sorani to Hawrami—are anchored in the exact same soil: the *Northwestern Iranian* branch of the ancient Indo-Iranian family tree. 🌳
