### 1. **Format of the Game**:
Cricket matches come in different formats:

- **Test Matches**: These are the longest format, lasting up to 5 days. Teams play two innings each (one batting and one bowling) and the goal is to score as many runs as possible, while also dismissing the opposition twice.
