Dearest friends,
due to chronic long illness , I have not posted this before,
I am so sorry that I am not here much at the moment.
This is our precious Remmie Darling, 1 year after we adopted him , our so special Bengal Mix Kitten. I made an error with the date on the actual video, I apologize, long term illness has also stopped me from sharing this last month and please forgive my shaky footage. Watch Remmie jump right at the end of this holding himself up by his paws on the thin window frame.
The music is Barry Ryan of Eloise fame " You Are My Friend" a rarely heard song that he sang & wrote.

Dear friends, (deutsch uebersetzt fuer euch liebe Freunde)
Right now as I am battling illness I get this lovely mail from YouTube telling me I lost my 'privileges' for my channel, I don't post enough ( try and do this when you have been suffering over 3 years for your daily breath and can't stop coughing......
I am angry at YouTube for their policies and bias against small channel owners. I particularly am angry at the double standards as in some countries you can prove your identity and get your privileges back like in America but for us Aussies , it's no go.
It is destroying individuality and I believe it is an AI made decision or perhaps done by a biased youth against small channel owners.
Lately I have been angry a lot, at our neighbours for over a year of building and not near the finish line as yet, constant dust, dirt and noise, losing our beautiful eastern view and not having daylight now in our kitchen instead looking at a 2 level prison grey extension and I am angry that I am so ill and can't get to see the specialised doctors and have a long waiting period.
So whilst I am writing this in protest I send all of you lots of love,

Gerade jetzt, wo ich mit meiner Krankheit kämpfe, bekomme ich diese nette Nachricht von YouTube, in der mir mitgeteilt wird, dass ich meine „Privilegien“ für meinen Kanal verloren habe, weil ich angeblich nicht genug poste (versucht das mal, wenn ihr seit über drei Jahren täglich um Luft ringt und ständig husten müsst…). Ich bin wütend auf YouTube wegen ihrer Richtlinien und ihrer Benachteiligung kleiner Kanalinhaber.
Besonders ärgerlich finde ich die Doppelmoral. In manchen Ländern, wie zum Beispiel in Amerika, kann man seine Identität nachweisen und seine Privilegien zurückbekommen, aber für uns Australier geht das nicht. Das zerstört die Individualität, und ich glaube, es ist eine KI-Entscheidung oder vielleicht die eines voreingenommenen Jugendlichen, der kleine Kanalinhaber benachteiligt.

In letzter Zeit bin ich oft wütend auf unsere Nachbarn, die seit über einem Jahr bauen und noch lange nicht fertig sind. Ständig Staub, Dreck und Lärm, wir haben unseren schönen Blick nach Osten verloren und jetzt haben wir kein Tageslicht mehr in der Küche, sondern blicken nur noch auf einen zweistöckigen, grauen Anbau. Und ich bin wütend, dass ich so krank bin und nicht zu den Fachärzten kann und lange Wartezeiten in Kauf nehmen muss.

Während ich dies aus Protest schreibe, sende ich euch allen ganz viel Liebe,

❤️Barry Ryan with ~Oh, What Is Wrong With My World~ written of course by Paul Ryan and from Barry's 1971 album "Red Man" .

This is a song I have loved for over half a century , oh, wow, now I really feel ' old', no make this wise, mature or whatever although the inner teenager is still alive inside my heart.
Firstly a huge thank you to 2 collectors from Germany Stefan and Erhard who repaired the sound of this song ( and many more) and to Stefan who contacted me and then both decided to send me so much of their incredible collection of Paul and Barry Ryan treasures to share with you all. I feel blessed and very grateful.
This video was created in loving memory of Barry and Paul and uploaded under the terms of fair use.

I wish I had more energy and more time but lately I am slow with my work 💔.
I made this one a touch differently as I wanted a more almost fantasy type of feel to these images as it suits the song , or so I feel. So some of the montages do have some free stock photos ( photos of our planet which I could no take ) to which I added my own photos or part of my own photos (like clouds etc) and made a montage to look a touch differently. I used photos of my own collection and some from the lovely collection of photos I was sent by Stefan and Erhard to create these montages , I also added some soft layers of colours to the black and white images as the colour backdrops needed this. I also added a silhouette photo that was taken at that era or a few years later, actually when I got back in contact with Barry to add to a montage as the song lyrics needed something like this on the montage and since I do not own copyright to other people's silhouette shots I used that one which seemed to fit really well behind the rocks and almost made it look as if I was coming out of the sea and perhaps the song was about a mermaid 🌊 𓇼 ⋆.˚ 𓆉 𓆝 𓆡⋆.˚ 𓇼.
I would like to think Barry would be be happy with my work and again it is a thank you to Barry for introducing me to photography ˙✧˖°📷 ༘ ⋆｡˚.
What can I say about this song, it is hauntingly beautiful, emotional, just as most of Paul's songs are and so moving 💔.
It is sung with sheer perfection by Barry and I couldn't imagine anyone else doing the song justice. I love the lyrics , the melody and when the last bit changes up to another key in the vocals, sheer brilliance.

I got tears in my eyes hearing the rare songs 🎵 I sent Nick, for this show ( these rare treasures were sent to me by 2 collectors in Germany Stefan and Erhard, who not only collect everything of Barry und Paul Ryan's but also worked so hard on restoring damaged acetate and improve all audio's and sent them to me) as I knew Barry would have been thrilled to hear them on air, live radio and to be honoured 🎖
I also was moved by the way Nick thanked me and mentioned my YouTube channel Barry Ryan and Paul Ryan several times. It was also moving to hear Ronnie Charles, an acclaimed Australian singer, talk about Barry's talent as a singer and relive a memory of seeing Paul with Cat Steven and thinking he was Barry Ryan 😊.
Such a wonderful tribute show ❤️.
