HELD TWO SANITARY FIELD ASSISTENTS - SEIZED (05) DUPLICATE THUMB

FINGER PRINTS, (02) BIO-METRIC DEVICES AND (02) MOBILE PHONES.

On 20-04-2021, the sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone Team, Hyderabad apprehended two sanitary field assistants who indulged in malpractices by making duplicate thumb impressions of sweepers and using them in their absence and drawing their salaries in the limits of Bhavani Nagar, Hyderabad. Seized (05) duplicate thumb finger prints, (02) Bio-metric devices and (02) mobile phones at the instance of accused.

Details of accused:-

1. Mohd. Haji Ahmed @ Ali, S/o Mohd. Jameel Ahmed Age: 38 yrs., Occ: Sanitary Field Assistant, R/o Talabkatta, Bhavaninagar, Hyderabad.

2. Mohd. Layeeq, S/o Mohd. Siddiqui, Age: 42 yrs, Occ; Sanitary Field Assistant, R/o Moghalpura, Hyderabad.

Property seized:-

1. 05 - Duplicate Thumb Finger Prints

2. 02 - Biometric Devices

3. 02 - Cell Phones

Brief facts of the case :-

The accused Mohd. Haji Ahmed and Mohd Layeeq are contract basis employees in GHMC and have been working as Sanitary Field Assistants (SFA) since 12 to 15 years. They have to supervise the employees by taking their regular attendance through Biometric thumb finger prints. Subsequently, both the accused hatched a plan to cheat Government authorities to earn easy money and created counterfeit thumb impressions. With their criminal intention they engaged their family members. In which, Haji Ahmed (SFA) engaged two members in his group and Mohd Layeeq (SFA) engaged three members in his group as sweepers. These five workers never attended their work since their enrolment. Further their attendance has been marking as present in the mobile Biometric device by using duplicate thumb finger prints and claiming their salaries since 08 years and each person earning about Rs. 14,000/- per month and cheating the Government.

Basing on reliable information, on 20-04-2021 the Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone, Hyderabad apprehended the above said (02) accused at Meraj Hotel, Bhavani Nagar, Hyderabad and seized counterfeit thumb finger prints, Bio metric devices and two mobile phones. The apprehended accused and seized property handed over to SHO Bhavani Nagar Police Station for taking further action.

The above arrest was made under the supervision Sri. S. Raghavendra, Inspector of police, South Zone and SIs Sri. V. Narender, N.Srisailam, Md. Thakiuddin, K. Chandra Mohan, & Staff of South Zone Task Force, Hyderabad city along with Bhavani Nagar Police.

APPREHENDED PICKPOCKETER MIRZA RAHMATH BAIG WHO COMMITTED THEFT FROM AFGHAN NATIONAL WHO CAME TO INDIA FOR TREATMENT OF HIS SON - RECOVERED 1400 US $ AND 5000 AFGHANI CURRENCY WORTH ABOUT 1 LAKH IN INDIAN CURRENCY.
On 07-01-2019, the sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone Team, Hyderabad along with Hussainialam Police apprehended a pick pocketer by name Mirza Rahmath Baig who committed theft of 1400 US $ and 5000 AFGHANI CURRENCY from Afghan national who came to Hyderabad for treatment of his son and recovered the entire cash intact from the accused.

Details of accused:-

Mirza Rahmath Baig S/o Mirza Maqbool Baig, age: 20 years, R/o H.No: 19-3-294/254/7, Near Nice Hotel, Vattepally, Hyderabad

Brief facts of the case:-
Syed Mirwais Rahimi, a native of Samangam (Village) Farasth Harsa Dist., Afganisthan came to Hyderabad on 29-12-2018 along with his six year old son Faiaz for eye operation at L.V. Prasad Eye Hospital. Earlier about six months ago, Faiaz underwent treatment at L.V. Prasad. On 04-01-2019 at 01:00 PM he came to Mecca Masjid for Friday prayers. He had 1400 US Dollars, 5000 Afgani currency in his Khurtha pocket. After completion of prayers, the accused Mirza Rahmath Baig observed the cash in the kurtha pocket of Mirwais Rahimi and taking advantage of the rush while leaving the Masjid, he committed theft of entire cash from Mirwais’s kurtha.
The accused Rahmath Baig, is an old offender. He is involved in similar offences under the limits of Chandrayanagutta and Begumbazar. He has the passion of riding bikes and enjoying life by taking Hookah. As his family’s financial position is weak, to accomplish his passion/habits he became an offender and leading lavish life with the stolen property.
In this case, in spite of trying at several places he failed to exchange the foreign currency. As such entire cash was recovered intact.
The apprehended offender Mirza Rahmath Baig along with recovered cash is handed over to the S.H.O. Hussainialam Police Station for taking further action.
