Gm guys, this stood out to me this morning. As I get older I realize more and more is out of my control. Thats an uncomfortable reality until you realize that God is in control and that he is our refuge strength and helper.
Lean not on your own strength and understanding. Instead, lean on the Great helper and Creator of your soul.
The wisdom of the world teaches us to be self-reliant, independent and self-seeking. The wisdom of God teaches us not to lean on our own understanding but to trust him and his words. To see seek his counsel and learn from his understanding, because then we can truly be wise.
Job 9:10-11 NLT He does great things too marvelous to understand. He performs countless miracles. “Yet when he comes near, I cannot see him. When he moves by, I do not see him go.
Remember, God is constantly working in the background. He is doing amazing things even in the hardest times of our lives. Don't let the pain pull you away from him. Instead, let it draw you to him.
