I started the October Scaries series in 2023. I curate a diverse list of horror/thriller films that I’ve never watched before, and I review them. The list includes horror movies that are Black-led, foreign horror, horror from the 80s and earlier, and what’s considered classic horror.

Hi! Summer’s almost over, which is a crying shame.
For August, I have three movies on my Watch & Review list:
1. Trap (in theaters now. Review will post tomorrow) 2. The Supremes at Earl’s All You Can Eat, on Hulu August 23rd 3. Blink Twice, in theaters August 23rd
What’s on your watchlist for this month?
In addition, I’m planning two videos for Best, Worst, and Most Mid movies I watched in Quarter 1 and Quarter 2 of this year.
Lastly, I’m working on vlogs for the France trip I took in May. We did sooo much!
I wanted to do an in-state summer trip, but with a big move coming up, that’s not looking realistic. I hope I can still get a scenic hike in🤞🏾.

There won’t be a video today, but starting tomorrow, I will be posting my reviews of the A Quiet Place trilogy (one video per movie).
On Thursday, my review of Netflix’s Parasyte The Grey will go up. After that, it’ll be all about Deadpool and Wolverine!!! I’m going to rewatch Deadpool 1 and 2 to prepare, but I don’t think I’ll officially review them (maybe a video or two on TikTok?).
With July almost gone, I’m starting to write my August Watchlist. What movies and shows are you excited to watch next month?
