A Witch's Tale for the Nintendo DS is my next video. It's amazing how a game with so much charm, delight, intrigue and secrets with a whole different ending with a branching path on a 2nd playthrough
... is held back by it's own gameplay.
And yet I don't want to call it a bad game. Especially given the context of its delay and the switch from real time combat to a turn based RPG.
So can a game still be considered 'good' with 'bad' gameplay?
So uh, bad news. I was 75% done with re-doing chapter 3's secrets and easter eggs when my video editor of choice, HitFilm, went offline. Permanently. Like, I can't even access my local project files and the product is shut down period. And the particular version I used doesn't have any arrr back ups and date too far back to be compatible with my project.
I tried some methods on reddit but I didn't have my licenses backed up so my cooked is goose. Chapter 4 was done so I'll probably upload that on its own later today or early tomorrow so I can take a break. Especially since I'm still getting hit by FUGA copyright strikes on all my deltarune videos and that's been stalling payment.
I am gathering a bunch of footage right now for chapter 4's secrets and easter eggs. I looked up quite a few so if you think there's a lesser one that isn't widely covered lemme know!
I have been extra busy grinding jobs since youtube tossed a copyright strike on my deltarune stuff and it didn't clear in time for monetization. (My adopted nephew is going to summer and I need to get everything ready for him by the end of next month!)
Also, I am thinking about combining the chapter 3 secrets video and fixing the puppet scarf bit + adding a couple more. Should I go ahead and do that, or do y'all prefer an isolated chapter 4 video?
I will be streaming all day tomorrow to go through chapters 1 and 2 to prepare for the main release! I sadly might only be able to stream chapter 3 as I will be attending my nephew's graduation (He got a full ride to Madison - Wisconsin! As his foster parent I couldn't be more proud!! But also he's leaving, so I don't want to miss any more moments with him!)
I have time for one more video before I go back to major surgery to reverse my colostomy! I wanted to cover a more controversial 3ds game, the 'not as bad as people think but still pretty weak' entries.
It won't be as in-depth compared to rhythm thief, I'm trying to hit a sweet spot in time that cover all the bases for those who won't play the game while still keeping it digestible
Getting shot and getting laid off won't slow me down. Next video will be here in about 2 weeks. It'll be my longest project yet, pouring heart and soul into a niche 3ds rhythm game. (I'm personally fine btw, I got safety nets and family helping me in these trying times)
So This past month I've been recovering from a severe case of diverticulitis. I drew a really bad straw and had to get a whole colostomy... which if you look it up. Yeah, I'm not exactly feeling proud about announcing that. But I'm regaining strength and want to go back to video editing. For the Denpa Men follow up I wanted to travel out and catch denpa out like in the 1st video but that'll have to wait.
For now, I've been thinking about other games to make essays about. Which one would you like to see/watch first?
