Turo Host in all different levels from New Turo host to power host make mistake of focusing too heavily on daily rates. Daily rates are great but if you live by the daily rate your business can also die by the daily rate. In my personal experience and to the best of my knowledge base what matters is the experience. Consider creating EXTRAS that offer some type of benefit to your Turo guest/renter. Many Turo host offer basic and average EXTRAS like prepaid gas , or additional miles etc. Make your EXTRAS more unique. For example you can create gentleman package and/or Ladies beauty package where you sell package for $50.00 per day where you provide cologne, perfume, make-up, press on nails, shaving cream, shavers etc. Or you can create honeymoon package where you create fun romantic list of things people can do that are visiting your city for romantic purpose (i.e. wedding, renewing vow, preparing to get engaged and/or just romantic get away for boyfriend-girlfriend, husband-wife etc.) You can even create family fun packages where you rent volley ball, Gameboy video game. Basketball, Picnic basket, flowers etc for $100.00 per day. These are fun and cool experiences and I have created many videos that go over some of these think outside the box strategies. Always remember this the more unique your experience is the more money you can charge the more common/average the less you can charge. Rare experience typically cost more than standard experiences. HOW TO FIGURE OUT WHAT DAILY RATE YOU SHOULD CHARGE FOR CAR ON TURO? ➡️ In my experience daily rates can vary drastically from day to day. It's best to go on Turo yourself and reverse engineer and act like you are Turo guest so you can view multiple similar cars. I do this anytime I am planning on purchasing another car for Turo. I check at minimum 100 cars so I can have solid confidence that I am selecting the correct car for Turo platform. I check how well car has performed for 1-2 years and I check the reviews. Then I check the daily rates for at minimum 100(one hundred) cars. That's the best way so you can work with the Turo market and see what's working and why it's working. This allows you to identify price trends as well. I hope this can be of help to anyone needing assistance when trying to figure how much daily rate you should charge. I basically earn the deductible for the next higher level and once I earn the deductible for next level I switch for the higher plan for example the Turo 80. I prefer the Turo 90 but I make sure I have earned and saved $2,500 deductible first and then I switch to Turo 90. What this does is it allows me to have coverage at every level. For example if someone starts Turo for their first time or if you add new car for first time it's terrible to pay deductible on first trip. Imagine day one or the first few days your car is damaged then you are automatically in the negative(red) so instead what I do is select plan 60 so I have zero dollar deductible if anything would happen but paying 40% is too expensive in my opinion for the long run so I just simply move up the chain until I get to Turo 90 but by that time I would have earned and saved $2,500 for Turo 90 deductible. Worst case car gets damaged on Turo 90 I atleast have deductible and then I after claim I would put car back on Turo 60 and start process all over again. Best case your car is never damaged and you are earning 90% and you have extra savings. I am a Turo power host and this is the strategy I use 🤠 I hope this strategy helps any Turo host no matter the experience. Doesn't matter if you are new to Turo or experienced Power host the more strategies the better. I wish everyone a lot of success and freedom my Turo family 🤠🚘💰
