Samuel Jonathan is an Author, Music Director and Composer of songs ideal for prayer and adoration. The books he authors are life-changing and intended to transform you for a lifetime!
Last year, when the LORD revealed to me in a dream that this man was sponsoring Boko Haram, the only person I could share it with was my wife. He was still the Chief of Army Staff in Nigeria and disclosing this information to the public could have been tricky. In these end times, God still speaks! In fact, if you are available, Heaven wants to commission you for "Greater Works" and reveal a lot to you. However, according to Revelation 4 verse 1, you have to "come closer". In order to improve any endeavour or aspect of life, including #publicspeaking, it is important to monitor by measuring. For instance, to cut down the number of times you say "Ummmm" while giving a #speech, record yourself (audio or video) while rehearsing an extemporaneous #presentation (a speech with no written material). Playback the recording and count the number of times you said "Ummmm". Write down the number and give the presentation all over again. Surprisingly, as you repeat this exercise, the number of times you say "Ummmm" starts to diminish! Why? We improve what we monitor and we monitor when we measure. For more insight and #publicspeakingtips on improving your #presentationskills and acquiring #presentationmastery, get "Quotes and Thoughts of Samuel Jonathan" readily available on Amazon www.amazon.com/author/samueljonathan
If #prayer is not your #passion, something else will occupy that position - Samuel Jonathan. "Quotes and Thoughts of Samuel Jonathan" is now available on Amazon www.amazon.com/author/samueljonathan
As we reflect on what Christ did for us on the #cross#goodfriday and the price He paid for you and I to be #redeemed, we sometimes wonder how best to appreciate Him or thank Him for ALL He has done, and continues to do for us. Obedience to God is the best form of #appreciation to God. No matter how many times we say "Thank you Jesus", God really prefers #obedience to His Word rather than just saying those words. #easter
Erroneous Teaching on #tithing#offering#sowing#sowingseeds and giving has resulted in devastating consequences on individuals. The lies people have been told in church adds to the pain and heartbreak people experience. As a result of zealous attempts to comply with these erroneous teachings, some neglect the financial needs of their families or even end up in debt! Today's episode is in continuation of the series, "The Church Has Led Many to Sin" 6:00 pm today #moviepreach
A man who is well known in his church as a vibrant and eloquent "Prayer Warrior" had a private transportation business. Day in, day out, he would "bind" every demon swallowing his revenue. He would pray against every enemy trying to destroy his business and finances. As a result of his reckless driving habits, he often burned his clutch on a weekly basis! The exorbitant cost of replacing the clutch each week was unbearable. Regardless of how you pray, "Your habits will either make you soar or suffer". What you do is more potent than what you pray! You may not be in the transportation business. However, the lesson for all to learn is universal. As we devote ourselves to #prayer and seeking the Face of God, let us be mindful of those #habits that can compromise our labour in prayer.
Many of us are full of vigour, zest and the "Anointing" while we are at church. Sadly, some of us do not maintain this "level" when it comes to praying at home or communing with God through His Word. As the Christian Church around the world continues to journey through #lent#lentenseason it is important to remember that "Communion with God in Private Space and on Personal Time" was integral in sustaining Jesus, through His 40-day #fast#fasting in the desert. The excitement derived from group gatherings (church) is great. The empowerment obtained from personal communion with Christ is greater! As we start a new week, everyone at Lifestyle Church is cheering you on, to give this new approach a try. God bless you. #newbook "Quotes and Thoughts of Samuel Jonathan" comes out April 26.
From balancing our hectic schedules at work with family life to the time we spend with God in #prayer and meditating on His Word, there are so many aspects of our lives we hope to improve. However, you cannot improve what you do not monitor and you cannot monitor what you do not measure! Start today by observing and measuring the time (in hours and minutes) you "spend" on those activities that drain you. Decide on the appropriate time such activities deserve. Intentionally implement the new time assigned to them and monitor the outcome. Do the same for the things of God. Decide the amount of time you will "invest" in God each day. The only way you will improve the time you devote in communion with God is when you are intentional (in monitoring and measuring). #newbook April 26.
