Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant remains a favorite you really should not skip.
We came around lunch time but always opt for the signature Chicken Dinner which comes with 3 sides and dessert. For $6 more than the smaller lunch portion, you get a lot more food and it is all worth it.
My favorite is the chicken noodle soup and the biscuits with boysenberry spread. The salad is nice and all of the chicken came out hot, fresh and juicy.
We topped it off with the included dessert choices. I had vanilla bean ice cream and Steve got a slice of boysenberry pie.
Pro tip: you are going to love that chicken noodle soup so much that you can grab a large portion of it to go next door.
And if you were wondering, yes this place is better than Plaza Inn’s Chicken at Disneyland. Better value and larger portions.

We perused Crafty’s Kitchen. The restaurant location looks nice. Nice theming using various poster art around the interior. Unfortunately the food presentation did not win us over and we went straight to Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant.
Crafty’s needs to focus on freshly prepared food. We are less likely to buy food waiting on a counter versus knowing chefs are busy making it fresh for us. The chicken appeared to be dry even though it was hidden behind frosted glass.
The large bowl of fries didn’t appear to have a warming element as well. If we did place an order, I am pretty certain the associates would have pulled our food from these trays.
The desserts looked unappealing. They need to have fruit bursting out of the shortcakes and pies. The shake looked yummy though.
There were also no food displays of any sandwiches or any other entrees, which raises a question, is my food going to be fresh?
Sadly we decided to pass this time, but I will be back to bite another time.

Time to try Knott’s again. So far the wait times are nice for most rides with 15-30 minute wait time posted around the park. I will wait for the sun to go down before getting in line for Montezooma.

New lamps surround the "Partners" statue on the Plaza. Tinker Belle and pixie dust swirl around the posts and one is topped with a star. Only one star topper was seen as of Thursday 08/06/26. Take a gander next time. They are pretty.

Bluey Fans. If you know, you know. You can buy a 24 count pack of Frollies Watermelon & Pineapple Frozen pops for $10.47 per box at Sam's Club. These are delicious and Bandit approves!
