I was able to experience a private tour of Walt's Apartment at Disneyland. Inside was a very unique experience with lots of interesting facts and stories. If you are ever able to book a tour at the park or through Disney Adventures, I would highly recommend it.

During the visit, you will see the apartments furnishings along with the separate sofas that turn into beds. On Walt's side of the room (the North side) a jar full of wheat pennies is ready for his Guest’s use at the Penny Arcade on Main Street. Lilian's original Fine China tea set is tucked away in a corner and an enormous non-functional vintage Edison Phonograph was placed facing the center of the room.

The photos on the walls were modified to feature Walt Disney in rare Disneyland history moments, like Walt rehearsing his opening day speech or his Guest's being driven about Disneyland on his personal VIP Runabout electric cars. However, the portraits above the beds were originally of Walt and Lillian's mothers.

Beneath the ghost lamp that honors Walt Disney is a dish of old candy favorites which were not recommended to eat. When Walt was alive, Cast Members would straighten up and smile more because they knew he was there whenever the light was on.

The kitchenette featured classic glassware purchased from the parks and some modern appliances so Walt could make some of his favorites like a grilled cheese sandwich. A fine cocktail mug set was also present for his favorite drink called a Tom and Jerry, which is a classic egg-and-rum winter beverage reminiscent of holiday eggnog.

The ahead of it's time bathroom shower had four shower heads along the faucet wall and the room tile was white with pink accents.

The staircase that lead to the balcony for parade and train viewing is where the fireman's pole was eventually covered up due to a park Guest surprising Walt by climbing up it while his family was occupying the space.

The floor is very creaky which leads to guests often questioning in the firehouse below, that they can hear footsteps above them. The musty fragrance in the room is what you would expect from a historic space that use to bring so much joy to Walt and his Guest's.

Out of respect for Lillian, no photography was allowed on her side of the room (the South side). Vintage Disney Production toys are present on the floor including a Slinky Swamp Buggy, a Minnie Mouse plush and some board games which entertained their children during visits. A rotary dial telephone, a small notebook with period glasses and a lot of decor motifs featuring Lilian's favorite flower, the rose. Very interesting.

It was really awesome to see all of this and they did offer to take a photo for me in the corner of the small room with the ghost lamp.

Saw Harry Potter Cursed Child at the OCPAC. It’s great! The magic and effects are really great. If you see it, get ready for some fast paced storytelling. Albus, Scorpius and the rest of the cast are all amazing.

For Disneyland’s 71st Anniversary, went into the park to enjoy the evening. We were surprised to see very low wait times for all attractions.

I finally was able to enjoy Pirates of the Caribbean and see for myself what all the drama is about regarding the new update. I really like this change. It’s fun, innovative and fresh. I don’t understand why some people are complaining.

We just went through an entire 70th with hardly anything new aside from a Walt Disney animatronic, so don’t complain when we get a surprise. Otherwise they will stop giving us new stuff to enjoy.

Remember when folks complained about the Pixar shorts, and the result of that is we don’t get them anymore. Please stop complaining and start enjoying. Shh, Let people enjoy things.

Our sweet treats enjoyed at Pride Nite 2026. The Golden Girls Cheesecake was perfect. The Raspberry Mickey Macaron was the best treat of the evening. The Raspberry Breakfast Tart was okay.

Did you know? During the attraction Star Wars: Millennium Falcon Smuggler Run, you can ride as a Single Rider or a Double Rider. This is a great option to bypass the standby line for any pair of riders. Just let the host know that you are doing a double rider during the sorting process.
